Ik mis één belangrijk punt: De 'balken' van het dak komen tegen de bovenkant van de stoelen aan als de stoelen helemaal naar achteren staan, met als gevolg dat het dak zijn eigen 'motor' kapot draait. Ikzelf ven 1,97m en moet de stoel maximaal naar achteren zetten om enigszins comfortabel te zitten, terwijl ik in een doorsnee Volvo nog zeker 10cm over heb op de rails. Het zal wel over het hoofd gezien zijn toen Alfa de Brera ombouwde naar de Spider, maar dat is misschien ook wel de charme van het merk?

Vermeld dan ook even dat het distributieketting probleem van de 2.2 jts een duur grapje is. 2500,- om te laten vervangen. Iets om over na te denken bij aankoop.

I like the Dutch, a cracking people. And Holland is lovely, though too flat for me. Always felt it was a shame they didn't make the Spider with different colour hoods. I have this car's precursor, 3.0. V6 GTV. Very fast and lovely to look at but not relaxing to drive. Sometimes I think I'll sell it as it makes me drive badly. 😂

Ik vind dit een mooie auto, maar de slijtage van de stoel (6:03) past in mijn ogen niet bij de kilometerstand. Anders gewoon slechte kwaliteitkeuze van de materialen.

Ik heb zelf een alfa uit die tijd met leren interieur (wit). En ik ben best onder de indruk, het ziet en voelt allemaal erg premium aan, alleen de bekleding dat is want het dashboard etc is mindere kwaliteit

BTW no one hate brera for her proportions compared to the concept: brera was (is) beatiful and that is a fact. People hate Brera because she is heavy, FWD and has Opel-GM engines. The cherry on the cake was that Alfa Romeo retired their legenday V6 Busso to put in an australian V6. Imagine substituting a Busso with a kangaroo motor and think that people will like it lool..

Tbh I can't imagine that Brera/Spider were that much more spectacular with the Busso V6. I have a Brera and think it is the whole car that makes the difference because the 939 models are way more solid and heavier than the predecessors that had a more exciting driving experience in general. I even think the lack of torque especially at lower revs compared to the holden V6 would be really nasty in such a heavy car.

It is doable now, I have seen a few go for 8000 euros or even lower, I think if you work for 2-3 year for a 10 euro per hour salary you should be able to afford one and get some of the needed (by now) maintenance done to it.

Deze Spider lijkt een tijdmachine te zijn. Filmpje dateert van 29-12-2016, datum eerste afgifte Nederland is 28-02-2017.

Valt wel mee... Ketting van mijn brera is vervangen door een Erkende Alfa Romeo garage voor 1750 euro, inclusief bijhorende garantie en een gratis onderhoudsbeurt.
