I've owned the Stelvio for 2 and a half years, not a single problem. My Mercedes-AMG gave me multiple problems. I've had the Giulia QV for over a year, driven from Maine to Miami, again, with no problems. My Audi S5 had issues. Alfas are great driver cars. I've owned three Porsches, the Giulia QV out performs them.
My brother has one of these and it has 72,000 trouble free miles. He was worried about the reliability when he bought it, but he been surprised at how reliable it has been so far.
Hey Zack and Andrea, Quick back story, I’ve been watching you on RU-vid and Driving TV(Zack) for a very long time. Love your content. My wife disliked everything there is about cars, but since you started having Andrea on, she has someone to relate to. We sit done every Saturday with our coffee to watch you guys. She always looks forward to the next show. Btw we find you two hilarious. Great job!
@@Motormouth... I was just thinking about how nice it is that you review cars with you wife and how you guys dress up nice for it....nice show...been watching since motoring tv as well....keep it up
I am a Giulia owner, and I love it, even it is just regular trim. My only gripe would be they make the tailpipe could sound a throatier. Other than that. It is also a hack of greta deal if you lease it in the state.
I like the chemistry between the two of you on the review, one complements the other on info; love how Andrea talks so warm and paused, brings enjoyment to the review; congrats you guys!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Honestly Zac and Andrea you 2 are great to watch. Love your reviews, informative, fun and engaging. Zac has all of the technical mumbo jumbo stuff, Andrea has the I love to drive cars and what is this car like to drive really like. A perfect match in marriage and in you tube marriage 😂 The Alfa? I love it, would love to buy one. Great engine awesome sound and not too slow either.... Alfa’s have that charisma and character ❤️ there is a style that has warmth and isn’t as cold an clinical as other brands.
Okay you two, I had no idea that this car existed. Where have I been? I'm such a car enthusist and now I can't get my mind off the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio. It's all your fault now and still deciding with the hard hit of deprecation. Then there is Mercedes Benz and Porsche. This is my favorite channel to watch about car reviews. Thank you for the content, honesty and style.
The difference between the Macan and the Stelvio 2.9 V6 engines is that only one of them is the product of Ferrari engineering. Porsche SUVs have VW/Audi engines. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio has a 6 cylinder version of Ferrari's F154 engine.
Kudo to Zack and Andrea. I have been following your videos for years. I used to watch motoring TV when Zack was in TO. I recalled he use to have female co-host, in his mini section. I do think that female reviewer does broaden their audiences. This formula works all the time. Now I have moved to SoCal, and I still follow all the Canadian product like Motormouth and the TO very own Straightpipe. Their shows are very entertaining, but Zack , you are one of then first Canadian who does it that set a good example for many fellow Canadians to follow.
Another great review of a really cool vehicle. As a European car fan, I have a soft spot for Alfa Romeo (love the old GTV6), but they have to find a way of getting past their former reputation of being unreliable to increase their market share.
Competitors don't want to lose market share to new players. So it's useful (millions in sales) to keep spreading the idea they're awfully unreliable. Image brand is very important for sales. See how well the German industry is doing, even with some of their brands selling unreliable models since mid 90's.
Sexy, graceful and unique. A perfect blend. The car is pretty sharp too! This Alfa is a rare sight in the Nation’s Capital. I’ve only driven the old Spyder (‘The Graduate’ model). It was far from well-built. But I love this latest product. I would love to spend some time with her... the Stelvio. Thanks for another entertaining video.
Great review and fabulous car from ' team 'Drea' and Zork Whatisname . No less than Jeremy Clarkson has said that you are not really a gearhead until you own an Alfa. In my misspent youth I owned a 73 Alfa Spider 2000 inezione , it needed constant maintenance but when it ran, god did it run.
Nice to see Canadian car testers. First Straight Pipes than Throttle House now you. ❤️ Please, if you will, get a 2010-12 Ford Escape Limited with navigation package and compare it to today's SUVs.
good review and love the joint inputs........comment re all SUVs, ever give thought to the practical side? hauling/towing, roof/ ski racks etc? ZeDDee Motormouths xcellent, no thin wheel and soft rides!
Hello, Greetings from Boston. I have been watching your channel for a while, I like your videos. Why don't you give us some presentations of Volvo as a family unit? that could be fun to learn more. good day
Zack, your videos are amazing on your own, but with Andrea they have gotten even better. Very entertaining, very well put together, some fun little touches. I love those cookies also. I heard the new Jeep Grand Cherokee will be on an extended Stelvio chassis, I am looking forward to seeing how it handles and rides.
my sis bought an alfa new, she put 260.000 km on it. under warranty 1xshock replacement, 1x battery replacement. after warranty a few electronic niggles, again a new battery. for the rest nothing big went wrong with it.
Andreas response to Zack's comment on "weapon" is priceless, especially after the first two or three doses of innuendo. I was laughing every time. One of your best vids guys...👍🏻 Oh, and the car? Nice, but I'd take an F-Pace or a Range Rover...
If thats a hit on alfa reliability, give it a fucking rest already, I drive a 13 year old alfa and no majour issues came up at all during all those years.
It’s different it doesn’t look like every other SUV it’s hard to tell one from another. Alfa is a quirky brand but always has been its Italian so it comes with a cool name that’s Italian marketing 👍👍 I agree London is not that great, coming from the UK I tell everyone London isn’t England, northern England is the the real UK
The X3 has only 4% more space than the Stelvio ...which is not a surprise since the Stelvio and the other competitors all have similar exterior dimensions. The Stelvio has the same boot space than the X4 ...which is slighly more than the new iX3. The cheap trick is that some of the german rivals like the X3, have the possibility to move tha rear seat. So they move it all the back to measure the interior space and do the opposite to give is the trunk space numbers.
@@andreaspencer9813 in this era when so little works out it is so heart warming to see such a delightful collaboration. Also a great example of working together that so many others can follow.
At 13:05 ..."Porsche has a different approach"....allow me to elucidate what that is.....Porsche (and Audi for that matter) take a VW Tiguan and Toureg and gussie them up and sell GLORIFIED VW's to sucker FANBOYS !!! You know...LIPSTICK ON A PIG !!!
I often wonder that too. IMO, a car reviewer should focus on what the general public will buy. You can do afew fancy cars but that shouldn't be your main focus.
