Looking forward to more alfa content, have a giulia ti sport myself and it’s been fantastic. 7000 miles of hard driving with no issues. Going to invest in some of your products when I get the chance. Keep up the good work, I find these videos very informative, especially the quadrifoglio steering wheel swap. I plan on doing that to my car next
Nice color scheme, Phil. I purchased the Visconti Verde/Chocolate Interior w/Yellow Calipers. Love the paddles and it's a blast to drive. Very satisfied. Looking forward to hearing more about the "mods".
that color you have was a plan B if we could not find the blue on red she wanted. Exhaust and intake will be on soon and I want to switch tires ASAP the Conti that are on it are mediocre to say the least. I will keep them for winter months and think il do he Michelin P4s in a few weeks.
To disengage the auto stop. Disconnect the hood sensor on the passenger side. You will get a small notification on the bottom of the dash but beats turning off the auto stop every time you get into the vehicle. You still have the hood sensor on the drivers side so it will not effect any other sensor( Air bag, Hood open etc). Hope this helps. I have the same TI Sport but in Volcano Black.I add the fender flares from the Quadrifoglio had them painted to match and added 20mm rear spacers. I LOVE IT!!!
Thanks for posting this. Got my Ti Sport on Saturday. Loving it so much. Agree to every single point you mentioned. A vehicle that lives up to what an "SUV" is. I am still getting myself used to the various features it has. Will look forward to your videos on all the 'quirks'. Today, I came to work on the Stelvio. My first impression -it's not the one for stop and go traffic. It may change as I get used to it often. But, I had some good fun taking few fast left and right turns. Those seats are damn perfect for this vehicle. Couldn't be happier. Only regret is that I signed 10k lease. I now realize it will definitely hit that soon.
Do you feel any lacking without the Performance Package with the Rear LSD, and active suspension? Cant find any Ti Sports with the PP within 3,000 miles of my home. May have to do without.
Really awesome review! We just saw this vehicle at an auto show and wanted to know more of it, all the detail was very informative! We are considering this vehicle as our next. Thank you!
Congratulations on the new SUV. It looks great. Was very close to getting it in White on Red Ti Sport with the Nero package back in February, but ended up with a Durango RT lol....Wife wanted a more spacious SUV, and coming from an Explorer Sport the Stelvio rear felt tight. It’s a great looking car though, and performance/handling is second to none. To me, the Nero is a must on these cars.
Auto Fanatic Definitely. It’s on my short list of cars for when I decide to sell my GTi MK6, even though I’m holding off for something special like the Quadrifoglio.
How’s the reliability? I hear the brakes are stop by wire. Do they feel high or low? Is it faster than the Q50 Red Sport? Have you driven the QX50/EX37 with the 3.7 V6.
I have the same vehicle . I just have one other option ( leather trim dashboard ) I do not however have the Nero edizione package ( I’ll definitely be doing that at a paint shop some time soon ) I live in Long Island so my vehicle came out to 54,450$ Msrp . And I got 24 month lease 15,000 miles a year 4,000 out of pocket 491 a month Just wondering since you’re also in New York what deal you got . ( inleased it this April 2019 And the dealer I got ( not an Alfa Romeo dealer ) pulled the vehicle out of westbury Alfa Romeo inventory Btw I absolutely love that color combo Mine is valcano black with the red interior .
we found two LUSSO with this color that had the leather dash and doors but they did not have sport seats they had a base seat and no Nero package or spare tire kit. I made so many calls but eventually found this out of state. NY dealers also do not give the best deals around here. Out of state is always the way to go.
@@autofanaticcars I'm having a hard time tracking down what I'm looking for. I'm trying to find Volcano Black or Monte Carlo Blue exact same spec as yours. Its proving quite difficult. I've only found Grey in North Carolina. It seems the most difficult thing in the south to find is a TI sport with Nav and HK.
@@TrillM3 yes it is not easy because these cars are not over produced like BMW and MB cars, so finding one to your spec is tough which is why when I found ours I jumped on it immediately because I knew if i waited a few months i would never find another one.
Great video as always. One slight error? The sport seats (as featured in this vehicle) are not the same as the standard seats in the QV. The seats in the QV has much more aggressive bolstering, alcantara and leather, and are only available on the QV models. That’s the case in Australia anyway. I drive a Trofeo white Giulia QV. Would love to hear your recommenced on the best impact exhaust upgrade - without installing a entire new system.
I enjoyed your review. Can you share where you got your deal? I'm going to look at one today at Westbury Alfa Romeo. Looks like you got almost $10K knocked off. The incentives right now are about $5K, I wanna maximize my deal. I like the vesuvio grey with your specs. Anyways, thanks for the advice.
@@autofanaticcars Picking up my 2019 stelvio awd, black exterior, black interior. Nero edition, with all the toys except no, Ti, or sport packages...everything thing else all in....lease..$549/month, 12K a year, for 36 months. $1k. Out of pocket. From Browns in LI. Excited. Will post pic. Thanks
@@robsrn74 congrats enjoy it and shoot me photos once you get it, your really going to love it the more we drive ours we realize its one of the best cars we ever had. enjoy. AF
Great review!! I'm thinking about this car any pointers to find the discounts before going in? Also when committing to purchase you go over the specs with the dealer? I've never bought a new car or you just take what's on the floor? Ty
It's been 7 months since you published this video, do you still enjoy driving it? would you recommend it ? any pros and cons you want to share? My lease ends this fall for my 2017 Murano AWD Platinum, I'm looking at this 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti Sport, Montecarlo, black/chocolate int. 20" Miron wheels.
Beautiful spec Stelvio! I "settled" on a Montecarlo Blue Giulia Q4 Ti Sport after being unable to find a Misano with the yellow calipers and LSD I wanted . Over time I've grown to like the Montecarlo more for the color shift effect you mention and because it's still dramatic without being as "in your face" as the Misano. As you mention I think the lower trim Giorgio models are a performance steal for all the Quadrifoglio tech they get. Does your Stelvio have seatcushion tilt? Only thing I wish my Giulia had.
Sounds like your driving the vehicle hard already. Is there a factory suggested break-in period for this vehicle? Love the red interior. Always been a fav of mine.
i wanted to but the suspension tuning from the factory is just perfect for daily use, i do plan to replace the Conti tires they do suck and I would like to do the Micheline P4S which would be a massive improvement in ride and handling and steering we will see how things go after the world bounces back from this crisis we all are facing now.
How are you finding the interior quality and ‘lack of’ tech - having carplay should sort the infotainment I think . I’d really like to trade my f80 m3 comp on a stelvio qv but not sure if after the new car novelty wears off, it’ll bug me
the QV is far more fun than the M3 in so many ways i honestly could care less about the tech and i do not use Apple Car Play i just get in and drive the smack out of my QV each day with a smile.
I have been spying the same TI-Sport for a while now. I have been looking for a Visconti Green with brown interior or the Misano Blue with Brown interior. Both of those color options look real good with the black package. The lease deals in SE PA are terrible at the moment.
I suggest searching in NJ, Ohio or Maryland they will make deals over the phone and even deliver if you push for it. the tough part is finding the color and options you like. go on Cars.com and search for what your looking for thats what I do.
thats your problem the Eagle one is an acid based cleaner, stop using it and look into switching over to my wheel cleaning system it was specifically developed for solving lots of these issues with caliper fading, staining and rust on the braking components. you can learn much more about on my website, link in my video descriptions. you will need to take the wheels off and polish the calipers back up carefully you can do it by hand using my Secret Weapon product or using it on a small 3 inch pad with a cordless drill
@@autofanaticcars the eagle one that I am using is ph balanced. I wonder if it started from me using the iron x. I have looked into your wheel cleaner and haven't put any thought into it. I will now
iron activator cleaners are not only nasty to use but also cause finish issues i have found, this is why i spent years working on a better solution after so many products ruined my wheels and brake system years back. My friend has a Giulia QV he got preowned and his calipers and rotors are shot because of wheel cleaners, I clean my wheels 5 times a week and they look brand new still.
Thank you for the video car looks amazing specially with the red interior. I though that you are going to replace your infiniti for either the genesis g70 3.3 /stinger gt
the q50 had horrible cargo space for both of our needs we needed an SUV this time around and this Stelvio Ti Sport just made the most sense. We both love it more each week.
Sorry for the question not in relation with the Stelvio Ti sport. But, How the stinger gt2 vs genesis g70 3.3t compare in terms of performance overall in your opinion? Thank you .
Auto Fanatic couldnt agree more love the stelvio awesome purchase 44k u stole that thing!!! Good for u phil can sIt to to see the mods in the future!!!
I too own a Stelvio and a Giulia QF. I agree the tech is functional and, unlike the Germans, easy to use. It does not intrude into the driving experience. We had an Audi S5 (2018) that we never succeeded in mastering the tech, very difficult to use. We also had a Mercedes AMG SUV and hated it. It broke multiple times and while fast, it rode and handled poorly compared to the Alfa Stelvio.,
I have seen it on the stelvio window stickers, as well as on the Alfa's build my Stelvio website. I'm pretty positive. One thing I did not see is active suspension and sport package combined on a Stelvio. I have that on my Giulia Ti Sport. So I was wondering if that was the case with the Stelvio you got.
i just checked the window sticker does not make mention of this, i do wish it came with the Adaptive shocks like my QV but i did not see one Stelvio Ti Sport on the ground with those options.
SUV AWD is the norm, not many car manufacturers makes station / estate wagons any more. SUV AWD stands for: S = SPACE U = UTILITIES V = VERSATILES A = ALL W = WOMEN D = DRIVES
@@autofanaticcars Thanks for your response, but I hoping for more specific details about the discounts you received before I stopped in at the dealer. Being armed with the information ahead of time is a lot better than relying on a salesperson to inform you of all the incentives you're eligible for, which we all know isn't always the case :(
