My wife and I just purchased a 2020 in Verde Visconti and chocolate leather seats, AWD TI sport trim with the color matching cladding. Absolutely LOVE this car to death, it's easily the most comfortable car I've been in - not at all like the RWD boats I'm used to haha. The new touch screen and improved interior console really sold me on the 2020 over the older models, definitely glad I went with it.

Everytime I watch your video on the Alfa Romeo it makes me want to lease my dream car even more. First got introduced to this car as a rental when I went to Germany and fell in love sense. Hoping the 2020 model has less “issues” than previous years.

When I left Fields BMW in Lakeland on Saturday, my M6 and I got to play with a Giulia Quadrifoglio, it sounded a lot like my California T (6cy version of the V8). They should put that motor in the Ghibli.

I would love that motor in the Ghibli. I always said the Ghibli should have a GTS model like the QP does.

Nice review there Ron!. Not many, reviewers, take you through the suttle changes such as , explaining how the turn signals work, the list of std option and the optional packages etc. Well done 👍and a brilliant reveiw.

Great review as usual Ron. You looked like you were really enjoying yourself! I’m really curious about that difference in steering feel from the ‘19 since the razor sharp response is a favorite thing with mine. Also I think I prefer the DNA knob to click into position, I’d love to know the official reason for that change. Touch screen no big deal to me. when I drive the wife’s Jeep I find myself looking for the knob rather than touching the screen first.

Great review Ron! Love the Stromboli/Red color combo (same as my 18 Giulia except for the Nero edition). Most of the 2020 changes are pretty nice from what I can see. B/u cam still needs work though! Prefer click style DNA switch as I want to leave it in the mode I prefer, not have to select it each time.

I am surprised that Alpha Romeo toned down the steering response on the Sport Stelvio. It might have been "twitchiness" to some but to others it meant lazer sharp reaction which inspires taking those curvy back roads.

I believe they have changed the DNA selector on purpose. Perhaps in order no to start the car in dynamic mode every time when the engine is still cold.

I've owned 5 Alfas from Sportwagons to Coupés. I've also driven most versions of Stelvio available in Ireland. The 2.2 L 210 HP Turbo Diesel (Irish Spec), 2.0 L 200 HP Turbo Petrol (base Spanish Spec), 2.0 L 280 HP Turbo Petrol 'Milano Edizione' (Irish Spec) & 2.9 L 510 HP Bi-Turbo 'Quadrifoglio' (Irish Spec). Do they drive like Alfas? The answer is very much YES. Unfortunately since Stelvio starts at €55,796 in Ireland, I'll be sticking with my MX-5 RF GT for now.

@@RonsRides They weren't quite as special to drive as the latest generation of RWD models, but for their time they were special cars to own and drive. The 156 was a peach to drive. The GT was similar but harder riding. The 159 was heavy but once moving could be hustled in confidence along a twisting road. My Alfas were... 2002 156 'Sportivo' (Saloon*), 1.6L Twin Spark, in 'Blu Velo' blue met'. 2002 156 Sportwagon 'Veloce' (Estate), 1.6L Twin Spark, in 'Alfa Rosso' red. (The favourite. Former Alfa 'Press car'. Sadly sitting unused and tired looking in my dad's garage. I'm considering a full restoration.) 2004 156 'Turismo Internazionale' (Saloon), 1.6L Twin Spark, in 'Alfa Rosso' red. 2006 GT 'Sportivo' (Coupé), 1.9 L JTDm, in 'Alfa Rosso' red. 2009 159 'Lusso' (Saloon), 1.9 JTDm, in 'Carbonio' black met'. (*Sedan)

Thinking of getting one for the family you sold me even more on it being a great fun suv since me and both my wife hate boring cars this will have some fun to it when needed lol needs a muffler delete as well or something just for alil more character 😂

Hey Jesse I think you and your wife will love it, its truly fun to drive, looks beautiful and has the space you need. Now you two just need to narrow it down to a spec you want which is the hardest part lol and YES delete that damn muffler lol.

I just got a Stelvio. Mine has a black exterior, red interior like this one in the video, and has tinted windows and the panoramic sun-roof. This car just makes you want to drive!! So much fun!!! Nothing boring about this car at all. As a woman, I can tell you I think your wife will love it! It’s so stylish and a head-turner for sure. Try it.😊

The Stelvio is a fantastic SUV with razor sharp steering, just wish you could have more reach movement with the steering wheel like in the Giulia.

Hi Ron, thank you for this amazing tutorial. I'm seriously thinking of purchasing the 2020 Stelvio. I'm pretty sold on this SUV, but my husband is not, he thinks that down the road more like a few years from now I will have problems with an Italian made car (i.e. mechanics) Please Ron help clarify this for me I really want to buy this beauty!!!

I bought my (more affordable) 2019 MAZDA CX 5 GT Reserve with AWD & 2.5 L. turbo because it has very good steering feel and handling. Certainly not as fast or good handling as the Stelvio but "best in price class". But I'd like a drive a Stelvio just to feel the difference

Bro im stuck on which vehicle i should get a used 2018 stelvio sport with red gutts or a used 2019 stinger gt1. If i get the stinger gt i will definitely do modifications to it. I had 1 kid she's 2. Since you've driven both which one you think i will enjoy more. Also which one you suggest i will like more i had a 5.0 before the pandemic.

Hi, I have the 2018 stelvio, my new one comes in a few weeks, apparently it has alfa dynamic suspension/FSD does this actually change the suspension feel?
