what i find very interesting is 20 years from now nothing in the present context will be or mean the same. With all the overwhelming information online revelations legacy's left by our ancestors for us that we have NO interest in reality, honoring or practicing the "old ways" {being African) of our elders; just to be honest about it. remember this new "millennials" as they often will invent new meanings every week seems they don't understand correctly. Egun Alfred Ladzekpo said that sometimes his young students would improvise on rhythm's just because he could; .Alfred Ladzekpo, : say's, "you can't do that". NO! it would be a very different conversation about this material and traditions in 1970's. What can one say to the ancestors only listen they say that we "Westerner's " are without culture and are the loud but Noisy vs quite wise as the Eguns (ancestors).

It doesn't matter. What matter is they share others' cultural tradition. They need to be congratulated for that and not be criticise in that way. And in the beginning the lady has introduced the dance with some words highlighting the history. They need to be congratulated in a world where other reject what is different from their own culture, they have made the effort to embrace and appreciate other's culture. It is the most important thing.

@@LuckyLucky-xp2sz Look if others show interest in your culture, you need to be understanding and welcome them in a benevolence and with a pedagogical approach explain things. You shouldn't condemn them simply because they have made some mistakes. Their deployment towards your culture is what matters. First acknowledge their effort, then explain how things should be done.

@@clementgavi7290 without mentioning a nation or tribe who originally practicing this war dance ritual until today call « plagiarized ». This white ppls are a taker. Plse mention Eweao of West africa. Only and unique in this planet who still hold on their ancestors tradition since Ke me (ancient Egypt) until today. Fakery ppls.
