Sad. I'm a Skins fan and I thought he should've held out after his second year. He was over 3000 yrds already. But I knew we wouldn't pay him otherwise.
It's amazing that after those 3 huge runs in that Falcons game, the Cowboys decide to not run any more on that drive. Dak got sacked, then there was a penalty or something. Dallas ended up having to kick a fg, which would put them within one score, but he missed it.🙄 Just shows that it isn't always the players that decide a game. Dak started being sacked repeatedly. Literally running for his life, because the Falcons scored on the next possession, and Dallas had to pass the ball the rest of the game. The playcalling sabotaged this team.
Look at the gaping holes Alfred is running through. That's when the O Line was at it's zenith. Martin and Tyron Smith were younger, Frederick was the best center in the league and not stricken by the disease that shortened his career, Ron Leary was way underrated and had a nasty streak, Lael Collins was a bad ass at LG and Doug Free was a savvy veteran that could finesse block as well as get down the field.
