Alfyn is the newest Apothecary to be brought to CotC, and also the latest addition from the original Octopath Traveler (alongside Therion and Lianna, who will have their Overviews very soon as well, sorry about the lateness xP)!!! He was the last of the original 8 to debut in JP, but in EN, he is here much sooner than expected! Let's see how to use this powerful pomegranate abuser!

Can’t wait for the Therion overview. I got Therion so I can’t wait what you say about him. Alfyn seems nice but I already have both Agnes and Theo. I would love to have him because that much closer to having the OG cast

Hey Shizukatz, we've been missing your videos lately :F I love your style of Character Overviews. An unbiased and informational insight from an experienced player is hard to come by. Thanks for the guides as always. I have question about exclusive accessories of "starter" 5* like for example Theo or Lynette. Are those even worth using or are you better off with different accessories?

Today was a good day, i got a 4.5 star lianna and a 5 star alfyn, as well as a dupe for kouren and primrose. Ive been waiting for alfyn and both his skills and his art do not disappoint

Thanks for the great insight as usual. I have a question. How important is to max lv up and awake all the 3☆ and 4☆? I know we are getting their acc sooner or later and the influence is kind of important, but is it really mandatory? I have 2 4.5 units, no luck for cookies and Im super tempted to exchance all of the 4☆ fragments for the gold seals since I barely use them as fillers for the arenas.

3*s it's not as important but I do it anyway. 4*s IMO it's quite important, especially on less-developed accounts, as it allows those 4* units to fill gaps in your roster. Eventually there will also be content where you are locked into using 4* units!

Day 116 of suffering because my favorite OG still hasn't gotten released yet. I missed 2 days of playing when i went on a small holiday. Alfyn was my second favorite so i decided to roll 30x to no 4.5* or 5*s Guess we start hoping that Cyrus is the next OG again... So again, this is day 116 of playing COTC without Cyrus...

It's weird that his spark is at 150, compared to Therion's 100 and previous units at 200..... Also Alfyn has this weird 4 step paid banner?, with Therion you could sink in 3K and get him guaranteed, or 2.4K paid, which were 2 rounds of the step up. For Alfyn you need 4 rounds and then you have a leftover 10 fragments.... what?

*Note to Self: never spend money on this game EVER. Haven't spent a penny on this game until today because I thought Alfyn was worth it. $150 later and a lot of pulls, I didn't get squat. Literally the worst pulls I have ever gotten back to back to back. I used my 1200 unpaid rubies last week and got two Therion's and a Linna. Used 1500 paid and got a Therese, thats it. I will never spend money on this game again, because I don't actually believe the guidance rates are true.

i still can't play it over an emulator. i tried so many versions, emulators, but none works for me. everytime i got an error. like app termination due missing rights or so. so i think: i'm done with it...
