Great video I have the same controller the DDJ-400. Do they have the same lightning cable for Android? And also how would I be able to do a live stream and get the audio from the controller to another phone to use as a camera.

Am having a problem with Algoriddim djay pro everytime am dj'ng every 2 to 3 hours it freezes & I have 2 reset everytime why is that? Am using my Microsoft surface laptop 3 with a pioneer ddj-400 is there any settings I need 2 adjust?

Hey, great info. İ know this is not a relevant question, im planning to buy an ipad pro and its gonna be my first apple device. Would you trust this setup for a low-mid level stages? Would you expect any crash, error, etc? İm a sax player, i want to play my backing tracks with a portable dj setup, also planing to play a little clubbing styles. İpad djay pro plays mp3 files, right? Can it play with free or sub version? Similarly, ddj400 is supported by free or sub version? Thanks a lot for the effort

Today my ddj 400 arrived and i use the Controller with the free version of djay. Beat loop and beat jump works perfectly with no issues. ( i use an ipad 2019/ iphone 6 and 12)

Good video man. Will tidal though have all of my music? Some tracks from spotify are not in tidal and vice versa. I don’t want to start paying for tidal if I don’t know whether my tracks from spotify will be available hahaha

Thanks! Tidal does have a pretty broad selection of music. It would be worth getting a free trial to check for yourself!

The major DJ programs on laptops now support streaming services like Tidal, Beatport Link, Soundcloud Go+ and Beatsource. Spotify wont work on DJ software anymore

Android devices are not all consistent. Only when the USB port of your device supports USB Audio Out. You may need an USB OTG adapter. There are lists on the internet of Android devices with USB that support Audio Out.

Yes, this will work with Android with the correct adaptor! When I migrate my premium music from spotify to tidal...does my music still stay in spotify for my everyday spotify listening purposes? I don't want to lose all my playlists and start all over.

When I’ve downloaded the algoriddim app. It doesn’t allow me to play my tunes from tidal, I’ve got the camera adapter and the controller is powered but there is no connection from tidal on my phone to the decks. (Also got my speakers and wires all plugged in the right place)

It should. I use 10 MaH and 20 Mah USB powerbanks sometimes with a mixer, desklamp and tablets while playing without wallplugs. But you'll still need the Apple USB to Lightning AV adapter ofcourse for your USB source signal.

Yes DDJ200 works with Algorythm software, plus other software covering basically every streaming service out there! 😁

The DDJ-400 should work with Algoriddim Djay on a laptop, but I would double check it's not iOS only!

Still no fix for the known issue with the DDJ400 iPad and DJpro. I didn’t know about this until I had paid out on the DDJ400, the apple connector thinking that it would work with my iPad, it didn’t 😡 massively frustrating as the DDJ400 is an amazing bit of kit

Yes, the phone is plugged into the power on the wall. But you need the adaptor to plug the controller to the phone at the same time.

I got the ddj 400 and it works perfectly with a Powerbank for all who want to play aswell outside without any powercharger.

Thanks for the video. As a said note… No, it doesn’t need to be the official apple adapter. Maybe some clones fail but I have two generic ones and both work perfectly fine (only 10€).

Who's working on this same principle for RU-vid. So can mix videos VJ at same time?? Please some one direction this.
