Yeah, I definitely like Alhaitham personality better when he interacts with Kaveh.. It reminds me of myself when I was younger.. and purpose doing particular things I knew would annoy my older brother. 🤭

Although they always bicker, I think Kaveh is one of the few people Alhaithem is comfortable around. And it’s hilarious because we get to see him in gremlin mode

@@retubey during the archon quest, "A Toast to Victory", right after talking to Alhaitham, instead of directly teleporting to Port Ormos to continue the quest, exit the House of Daena and re-enter it.

Alhaitham reminds me of Ben Shapiro with his whole “facts don't care about your feelings” type thing going on. I couldn’t stand him at first, but he's grown on me mainly because he's fun to bully. Even Nahida thinks he needs to humble down, it's so good.

Diluc barely speak eventho when they do banter its funny. The best example was during the first Golden Apple Archipelago. Since then they barely interact until the recent event in 3.1.

I’m gonna throw a wild guess that they knew each other wayyy before their jobs, like as kids or something and already had some sort of best friends broken up for some past reason and Alhaitham took Kaveh in after the debt thing from remembering him.

@@XenaAndKin I wouldn't put it past HoYoverse to do that but - so far - they've only established them as old Akademiya students from different departments. Kaveh was pointed out to be his senior but I don't know if he's actually older or if he was just in a higher position than Alhaitham while at the Akademiya. Even Cyno is depicted as really young and he graduated early, like Tighnari. I hope we find out more about their school days; all four of them, actually.

“They don’t like each other” and yet Alhaitham let’s Kaveh stay at his house and Kaveh refuses to leave no matter how annoyed at Alhaitham he gets. Alhaitham also pays for Kaveh’s expenses and they often go out together in public, so often that the people of Sumeru know they’re always arguing with each other. Yeah, I’m pretty sure they don’t hate completely each other, otherwise they wouldn’t continue to show up in each other’s lives. Alhaitham has the option to just tell Kaveh to fuck off if he wanted to.
