The competition in the 80's among the musicians brought out the best. Some of the people he mentioned here are still alive today but they have dropped out of the business. Hard work & God's blessings are what I believe to be responsible.
The record was released in 1986 that when he had an Extreme fight with Barrister Ayinde , he was referring him to Ajunilo, he even mentioned Ayinla Killington and Ayinde Wasiu before Barrister while praising some high level Fuji Musician Lord. So war has been so long btw Musicians expecially in Fuji Music.
That's actually not what happened in this record. Sawaba wanted to dedicate an extensive time for Barrister and he didn't wanted it to get lost in the middle. He decided to make him Eegun nla ti nkan in Igbale. If you noticed, he called Wasiu the son of Agbajelola.
Check out Wasiu Ayinde Record Label (Babalaje Records).. Pata Olokun was produced under the then Saliu Adetunji Omo Aje Records before they changed name.
