Honestlyyyyyyyy, she sang those insanely difficult songs and "succeeded" and they voted her off because of "package"?? Whitney was great but we all know there was no one who could trump Ali. And Whitney didn't even win for long😪she won only to lose immediately. To be very honest, Ali should have won this and till today, every time I watch her, I just get pissed off. Oh well, it has passed but Ali will always be the winner in my eyes(of course my opinion doesn't matter but I like to imagine that to some of us, she was appreciated on that stage).
Ali really is a complete package artist. She can sing anything. Her range is insane, her tone is gorgeous and she has so much versatility, something like a Kelly Clarkson. But on top of that, a great stage presence as you mentioned. She was robbed on the Voice and robbed here.
Ali was on The Voice prior to coming on this show and was very popular (but got screwed). By the time she came here, many people already knew who she was.
They left out her no more drama performance but you gotta watch her performances from the voice too! That’s how I first discovered her and she was robbed there too.
There was no way Whitney out-“SANG”, out-PERFORMED, nor anywhere near out-SHINED Ali on that last battle. Ali Caldwell did what most cannot and often fail to do, smash a Mariah Carey song and totally make it her own. If anything, Diddy chose Whitney because of her look. Sorry… not sorry. All tea, No shade. Whitney is certainly talented but, Diddy will always be Diddy/Puffy/Puff Daddy/Sean Combs… uhhh u get my point 😅
Every time I watch this I get pissed. Whitney can not sing. Ali is a hell of a singer and there was no one in this competition that could out-sign her.
