“Extra” sat down with Ali Wong and Randall Park as they promoted their film “Always Be My Maybe.”
In the movie, one of Ali’s love interests is played by Keanu Reeves, who shot his scenes a year ago. When asked how they got him onto the project, Ali said, “He was always our first choice. The script was sent to him, we never thought we’d get him… he had watched my Netflix special ‘Baby Cobra’ and he read the script and he said yes. I think he literally wrote, ‘I would be honored to be part of your love story.’”
Park chimed in, “He was quoting lines from her special.”
Wong pointed that Keanu was “giggling” while watching the movie for the first time at the Los Angeles premiere last week.
