@@cvu1742 Having an ego also gets in the way - even when you are rated much higher than your opponent and they happen to be only 10 years old. Alice put enough pressure on him that he had to think hard and deep for most of the game. Her thinking was in terms of seconds with a lot of yawning in-between. It's only a matter of time before Alice hits adolescence, and then she will be really hard to beat. Alice is still an exciting young chess player with some outstanding and exceptional skills.
