Yes, he already put it in his setlist for his 2019 tour and i was so damn happy to finally see this song live . The whole audience was freaking out and singing along ❤
This is pretty fucked up of me to say, but in defense of his drugs, his so called Blackout Albums were pretty damn good. I guess it speaks for his talents that he was really clever and creative while so high that he forgot almost all of that.
Awesome. You gotta give Alice credit for re-inventing himself and staying relevant in this time period. The heavy metal mainstream rock of the late 80s was a great opportunity for him to make a comeback and he nailed it on a bed of nails.
Yeah i noticed Alice and Ozzy both were able to stay very relevant during this hair metal period. Very impressive job for two musicians who debuted during the 1960's.
Going to see Alice in October. Ever since I was little, I wanted to see him perform. I've seen him in the Hollywood Vampires perform but not as Alice Cooper the band 🤘
Old man here, when Alice goes, so will my soul. It will be as bad as when John Lennon left me when I was just a teenager. No one compares to the raw sound and energy of Alice Cooper. One of a kind, and a great mind as well.
Rocking through the night, Rolling on the floor. Such a clever line. And that intro... goosebumps even now in 2024. One day sadly Vincent will leave this world, but Alice is immortal. ❤
One of the best records of all time. It is necessary for everyone to have this disc on their shelf. The memories it brings to mind are truly the best medicine for any problem. Thanks You For The Music Alice....
Cooper's opening monologue for this song is amazing!!!! I got into Alice when I was a kid in the late 80s. He put me on the path to dark music and shaped the shock rocker/horror filmmaker I am today! Happy Halloween Forever!!!! Byron Lead Singer/Lyricist Ghosts in the Graveyard.
Alice Cooper is also MUCH smarter than ANY president we've had. That's probably why he's NOT president. He's smart enough to know better!! He does have a PhD so.....
Lyrics Yeah!!! Yeah we're gonna fight We do it every night Baby when you scratch You know I'm gonna bite You can make me die I can make you cry Opposites attract That's the reason why No one else could make you feel like I do, I do, I do No one ever gets as deep inside you, as I do baby Our love is a bed of nails Love hurts good on a bed of nails I'll lay you down and when all else fails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails. First we're gonna kiss Then we're gonna say Dirty little words Only lovers say Rocking through the night Rolling on the floor When they hear you screaming They'll be breaking down the door No one else could make you feel like I do, I do, I do No one ever gets as deep inside you, as I do baby Our love is a bed of nails Love hurts good on a bed of nails I'll lay you down and when all else fails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails. Bed of nails Bed of nails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nail Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow Gonna drive you like a hammer Gonna put in my slammer Oh yeah! Our love is a bed of mail Love hurts good on a bed of nails I'll lay you down and when all else fails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails Our love is a bed of mail Love hurts good on a bed of nails I'll lay you down and when all else fails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails
I love the way you hurt me. My tears are your wine. Your thoughts would draw my plan for a cruise in vain, Like talons in the pale moon shining above us. My gained pleasure in pain is slowly vanished As we sink deeper and deeper into a void of your venomous love.
He manages to be classy and suave no matter what the lyrics or background, even with full leather, horrorshow set and decapitation I don't think anyone can look at him and think "Oh gross!", he just got that energy of purity
Haha, yeah.I used to go to pubs when I was the age of 8 with my mum,and I played this on the screen at the bar,and my mum's friend was saying ``Oh my child is singing her ABCS and I'm proud! What's Jez singing?`` And my mum always used to laugh her ass off and say ``Bed of Nails by Alice Cooper``.At the time I didn't understand the lyrics because I was only 8,but now that I'm older I finally understand what Alice is saying.
With this great album Alice reached the peak of good rock & roll, not only his best music, but the best rock music in the world. I was 15 in 1989 so I remember it very well playing on the radio. Don't know if it was good times, but this kind of music made the times better and worth to remember. I see Alice still releasing albums, that's very good to see. Still going strong, Alice is back!
@@alicecooper2793 You have a really kind personality, and I love your music so much.I think it's very inspiring and amazing.I hope you are proud and love your own work.It rocks hard.Keep up the good work Alice!!
Alice Cooper is one of the REAL rock/metal legends of the 80s, where quality was important. Look at the simple stage techniques, and it is still good today....
Too bad I didn't live in the 80s. I was so out of it on alcohol and stuff that I woke up in the 90s... But it's never too late to listen such amazing music! Alice Cooper rules!
Been into Alice since I was the age of 3,and I still love his music now.He has a great career and I hope he is proud of himself.I have most of his albums/CDs and listen to them all the time. This song always plays and I just have the urge to headbang because it rocks HARD.
You have such a profound impact on my career that even the biggest thank you text would fall shout to express my gratitude. Thanks for your support and the love shown stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
I just heard him say at his Radio show on Radio Bob that he was surprised and somehow honored that there were many young people/teenagers in the first rows at his concerts at the european tour and I‘m glad I was one of them in Germany. 🤘🏽🖤
Born in 88. My Dad had the "Video Trash" VHS cassette. At two years old, I was wearing their Harley Jackets and singing into empty Jack bottles: "House ov'fyyaaa!"
Lyrics :) Yeah, we're gonna fight We do it every night Baby, when you scratch You know I'm gonna bite You can make me die I can make you cry Opposites attract That's the reason why No one else could make you feel Like I do, I do, I do No one ever gets as deep inside you As I do, baby Our love is a bed of nails Love hurts good on a bed of nails I'll lay you down and when all else fails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails First we're gonna kiss Then we're gonna say Dirty little words Only lovers say Rockin' through the night Rollin' on the floor When they hear us screamin' They'll be breakin' down the door No one else could make you feel Like I do, I do, I do No one ever gets as deep inside you As I do, baby Our love is a bed of nails Love hurts good on a bed on nails I'll lay you down and when all else fails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails Bed of nails, bed of nails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow Gonna drive you like a hammer Baby, put me in your slammer, oh yeah No one else could make you feel Like I do, I do, I do No one ever gets as deep inside you As I do, baby Our love is a bed of nails Love hurts good on a bed of nails I'll lay you down and when all else fails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails Bed of nails, get on my bed of nails I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow Gonna drive you like a hammer Baby, put me in your slammer, oh yeah I'll drive you like a hammer on a bed of nails
Well i think you're right. Poison was about fighting his senses and trying not to loving someone who he knows was "venenomus poison", and we can assume in the end he failed and ended loving her so roughly, until the point turned violent.
Love this song. If anyone was at the Leeds gig in 2019 and heard someone scream when they started playing this, that was me 😂 I've seen Alice Cooper 3 times, but it was the first time I heard this live.
I was born in 67 and the 80s Rocked liked no other decade, listen to that true bass that’s the true sound we had especially on our car decks it was fucking awesome
You have such a profound impact on my career that even the biggest thank you text would fall shout to express my gratitude. Thanks for your support and the love shown stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
Saw him live with my little brother last Thursday, it was his first concert and during Elected, he got so excited he actually passed out💀 This song has been stuck in my head now since
