Alice will always be special to me .. He is the reason I sang in bands, play guitar, bass and write.. I'm partially disabled due to an accident, but I can still stand sing and play. He is youth no matter how hold he is. And he is a Godly man. I needed him as a kid.. I may need him more now. May he rock on and and on..
I like how he is always so welcoming to do so many interviews and comes across very authentic. You can really get a good feeling for a person that way. So many big name celebs are soooo fake it makes me sick when they get in front of a camera, its all about them. He is also a very funny person and seems like he would just be a cool guy to hang with. PEACE...
Just started my path to sobriety. It's funny how my first concert was Alice Cooper, and now he is the first person I thought of when I made my decision to quit drinking.
I do like this man!!! Always loved his music, and some years ago I "fell in love" for Vincent Damont Furnier and his truthful away of being human!!! Thanks for posting the interview!!
Many people have such a bad image of Alice Cooper. But in reality he looks like a real nice guy, in this interview he truly shows the real Alice. My respects !@Mulatschag great interview !
Nothing wrong with still making and performing music when you are getting older. The just shows a true artist, someone who lives and breeds music and whos music is their LIFE.
my dad was a bad alcoholic he had a heart attack and was in a hospital going through withdrawals but when he was released he never drank again. So proud of him....it looks as though alice had the same thing..minis the heart attack
Alic Cooper doesn't look like he's aged a lot since the 70s. I mean he looks a little older but consider how he looked back 40 years ago I'd say he's aging slowly.
Love you man always have BB mars from your first double album GREAT wish I could play it but can't find a player so when you touring Oz again love your old song even though your new ones ain't bad lol hope to see you soon as I'VE been a fan since the seventies
He seems to be such a great guy. I wish he could help with the problems i've got with my parents. Alice Cooper, you are my role model! I love your person, your music, the way how you make people happy.
best alice cooper story..........trying to find alice cooper 8 track in a small, rural town in 1972. salesman comes in and we ask if there is anymore alice cooper. guy says "yeah, shes really popular" we just died, we were so cool. cause we loved alice and he was clueless. when 18 was a big hit I was 17 so he was our world. schools out for your senior year. we thought he was so cool and that made us too. plus great songs. ps (dear kiss). see alice bring his original crew back after not playing together for 30 years for his induction.
you gotta love that morrison dug & understood early cooper's music. there is a sharp link between the doors & cooper. morrison was one of the first to poke holes in the hippie bs. cooper broke it for good..... dont forget morrison lived long enough to hear cooper release, love it to death. very strong album wh/ has direct doors links.
Alice is witty, entertaining and has a genuine perspective on the trappings of the rock and roll lifestyle. I work concert security in Dallas, TX and it will be a pleasure to see him open for Motley Crue in July.
It´s just making me speechless... I´ve never heard somebody talking about surviving rockstars like that, you know, like that they can´t be the person on the stage for whole life.. It´s such a great interview, really.
Very nice interview! I've been following Alice since 1972 and met him many times but never seen his this enthusiastic and open in an interview before. Just great to watch!
I've been listening to Ozzy since I was 3 actually. My dad told me a story about when I was 3 years old, we were sitting in his old Volvo (went from Trans Am to Volvo...waow), and we were listening to a Black Sabbath casette, and he said that i said "You know, dad. This is our music". So I've been a fan all my life, and I'm 17 now :). Been listening to Alice Cooper for about 2-3 years now and love him as much as Ozzy! See em live if you get the chance! You won't regret it! :)
Did you see when foo fighters, invited him on stage for a couple of songs... Not only did he take them to school the crowd went crazy, ( loudest crowd I've heard in years )....
true true true. ALICE is the ultimate showman. Always remember ELVIS died ALICE can't ----For he only lives three hours at a time on stage.............
I, Of Course, claim to be ALICE COOPER'S Greatest Fan...... I have loved him since Welcome To My Nightmare took the world by storm. He's like the older brother I've never had. I've gotten much direction and guidance from his art..I will love him like a brother forever...Even if he uses devil weed...Alice, please don't cave to weed . .... It's much more dangerous than the "weed people". let their customers realize. I have a lot of science-based facts behind my opinion. I also used to be married to a Mortician and witnessed a lot of tragic stories about people who "just used weed."
Alice Cooper. I love you. I actually found your album Welcome to my Nightmare, inside the jacket of another album that I had bought from a thrift store, I think that’s how it happened. It was inside an Andy Willams album. (SINISTER) . Anyway, I drew your face onto Andy’s face and I loved that Album a lot! It inspired me to draw from Devil’s Food, The Black Widow on my bagpipes case. 🕷. Love You so much!!!! Thank You for LIVING! 🧡🥰
trust and believe i'll be there when he's 81 . can't wait to see the {Alice Cooper REFLECTION world tour 2029} The REFLECTION album will be an instant classic with it's chart topping title track----- ALL is VANITY---- see ya at the show . LONG LIVE THE COOP. see ya at the show .
🖤🥀Amazing Man no doubt! I'm so thankful for the time I spent with him and his crew sitting in front of me at the Atlanta Ga Stadium in 1975 he was such a gentle Soul wonderful person ect: I knew it was him. I had to shut my husband almost yelled his name but being born into music by my Dad he's been inducted into to the Country music hall of fame and honor in Macon Ga singer song writer writer I knew he didn't want to be around those local dummies that were crazy peeps. God Bless you Alice Cooper I love you Guy's so much🥀🖤🥀☝️
Wow! Thats so cool!! I agree, they both are awesome guys. I hope I do get to see both of them one day and meet them, I think I'd ask Ozzy Do you think you'll be makeing another album?" and probly ask Cooper "How many golf tournements have you won?" lol
Thats funny he says he came out of the hospital and had no craving for alcohol. Cuz thats how it was for me. I lived for beer, whiskey, gin, vodka. (No tequilla. I dontt know how anyone could drink that crap). But anyways, I figured maybe a change of scenery might help me slow down. So I moved to my brothers place. Reading, Pa is not the town to go to if you're trying to slow down on the drink. After 5 years of trying to kill myself with booze, I stopped fighting it. Then I gotta call from a friend back home needed a roomie. I thought about it for a few minutes and moved back. But something really odd happened when I got back hone. I completely lost the urge to drink. Pepsi sounded real good. And if I tried to drink a beer, I'd get half way through it and start getting a real bad headache, everytime. So I just stopped drinking. Weird huh?
Jim Morrison didn't try to be a character, Jim introduced the concept of "Rock star" without wanting to, he didn't want it to be that way, but he was genuinely a Rock star and he's become a model that some artists tried to follow and imitate and some of them were ridiculous because it wasn't genuine
There's a big difference between dropping names and remembering friends and sharing memories. Buck up, pud, maybe someday you will be elevated from utter obscurity.
Kimbi,it looks like somebody was watching over your dad. Alice led me through some tough times thru his music maybe this is his way of helping you and your father
Alice you nailed it.Many cannot seperate themselves from who they are on stage. They crave the attention. When the shows over they cannot simply go back to being themselves
Ah! So cool!! Ozzy has always been my hero since I was 6, I'm 12 now. But, I thought Alice Cooper said "there's nothing dirty, no bad language. It's just comedy and horror and GREAT MUSIC!" I don't have the money to meet Ozzy, :C
alice started out as a backing band for zappa. when noticed they became one of the best-----listen to earlier alice albums million dollar babies ect--=-------great rock albums--------hes talkin about moon---keith was the most pleasantness guy youd ever meet------till he got drunk to me alice cooper are up there
Alice Cooper auf Mulatschag? Des is jo uuurgeil...danke, danke, danke Burschen für des wirklich großartige Interview!!! And the best at the end: no problems for the next 20 years...he's still a kid and 18 forever!!!
I love you Alice :))) It was great to see him two weeks ago in Mannheim/Germany, awesome show!! Good chances to see him again one day when he talks like this :D Great interview, I enjoyed watching it.
