I saw Alice Cooper in concert… I was shocked at the physicality that he put into the show at his age. Truly a great performer-I was glad to be able to see him.
He was on stage before I was born and at 52. Now I can’t even stand up at the end of the day. How do they do it Well hun being a rock star and me a company work mule that works like a prisoner may have something to do with it. But 73 is really pushing it to do it and still look and sound cool. Rock on
I saw him im Virginia Beach..I had backstage passes..it was really the first time I heard him sing ..but I was addicted from that moment on..his show was absolutely incredible!!! And backstage he actually took time to talk to everyone, take pictures and sign autographs..he was so down to earth and so friendly..I did the joke from Wayne's World (We're not worthy!) And he laughed and said he has heard that at almost every concert he has ever done! What a great great night!!
years ago, my sister introduced me to him... she was friends as a result of her being married to a basketball (Phoenix Suns) player and Alice would attend games.. We sat at his restaurant and he walked up and surprised me... Very traditional, family type man... good man.
We use to live on the mountain by greenway and 19th ave. He built the big White House with palm trees all over for his parents. You can see the house from greenway. You can’t miss it. I believe he still owns it.
My best bud use to work security at concerts in Vancouver B.C. The night of The Welcome to My Nightmare Tour he fell off the stage and landed on my bud and busted his glasses he broke Alice's fall from a nine-foot-high stage which I am sure it could have been worse. I know I was there that nite and you could see it coming. The box he was attempting to climb up on and into was disproportionate. Long story short Alice made it a point to contact my friend and pay for his glasses and present him with one of only 50 tour t-shirts made in gold lame for entourage and crew of the Welcome to My Nightmare Tour. He gave the shirt to me .....I had it hermetically sealed!
@@bobfurlotte1109 Awesome story. The following concert after that was here in Edmonton for the Nightmare Show, and his head was bandaged, he was in so much pain he couldn’t perform very much. I felt so bad for him. At that time I was so infatuated with Alice in his early 20s. I still love him 50 years later, from when I discovered him in 1970.

Last tour with original guys ...after that was kinda a cluster f*ck with dick Wagner /Steve hunter....original band was amazing...glenn Buxton/dunnaway/Neil Smith/ mike Bruce....the best!!!
Ya Know I was really not into Alice Copper all that much, but I went too one of his concert & he is AMAZING, WOULD RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO GO TO ALICE COOPER'S CONCERT!!! IT Was SO "GOOD" WE HAD AN AN AMAZING TIME AND WAS IMPRESSED!!!
I saw him in concert years ago Doing Welcome To my Nightmare at the Baltimore CiVic Center where I,m from. Really fell in love with his music & a killer Performer , Showman, Been hooked on his music ever since the show. Now He has the best band & show over 50 years of playing Amazing & a wonderful person.
I Love Alice - I feel like he's a friend. His album; Welcome to My Nightmare was my 1st rock album purchased and, I was never the same again! Lol! I've also listened to him on the radio (host) he is an extremely intelligent man - I mean like seriously. He's a true artist and performer, in every sense of the word. In the last years I met Coop at different M&G´s after his concerts and visited his property in Paradise Valley, and know something about the cars. The report here is not correct. But you know, he´s a living legend , funny guy and great golfer... and I am very close to him. Will see him soon at concert.
Vincent is a very private talented guy (musically as well as golfer). I came to know of him at Big Horn in Palm Desert CA some time back. He had a reputation of being a low key guy very different than his public persona. He had it very much together in that he delivered to the public the bizarre but retreated to his real self. He always knew the difference. Its admirable what he has been able to create. Of all the entertainers I know, and have met, he and his wife would be among those Id like to invite for a relaxed BBQ dinner, no media, just people. Who knows, maybe someday. I did not know he moved his interest to Paradise AZ which is a really lovely community, lots of golf! Thanks for the update!
Big Horn is beautiful, I love Palm Desert lived there for a few years in my late teens. Worked at the Olive Garden on 111 and hung out at Bananaz. Those were the days :)
@@warrioroflight3813 -Yup, you do know it. It was a GREAT place to live and work. I think I lived there for like 15-16 years. My home was in Rancho Mirage but I worked in Palm Desert. Now, not so much beauty as there is fear, lots of closed businesses, and paranoia really thanks to Governor Newsom. Vincent made a smart move to Paradise AZ prior to all of that decline. Fortunately I got out too before it. I figure I got the best of CA when I was there and I hope it recovers. It can be a beautiful place.
I have been to so many concerts...and Alice Cooper is my all time, absolute, favorite showman!! The last Alice Cooper concert I attended was in 2006, in Reno, Nevada... Thank you for sharing so much fun with me, Vincent!! ❤️
I've really enjoyed learning more about who Alice Cooper really is! To be honest, I was never a fan of his earlier music but certainly learned to appreciate the "theatrical" side of it. I became a huge fan of The Hollywood Vampires when they were born in 2015! These are some really wonderful and talented men- God Bless them!
I have been a fan of Alice for 45 plus years. He is a icon of rock. He is a humanitarian , a philanthropist . A giant in the world of entertainment , he has built a place where kids can come and follow a dream of music that will cost them no more than their time.I was so looking forward to this video and for at least 3 minutes of it there was silence. So frustrating that you could not find more to say about this guy . Disappointed. Didn't subscribe.

Must be nice to have that house, but he don't get to spend all that much time there ( at least before the pandemic). I worked all over Phoenix, Az and many trips to work took me East on Lincoln Blvd. where I was told Alice Cooper lived in a close proximity to Barry Goldwater. As if Alice Cooper wasn't cool enough already.
My first concert was going to be billion dollar babies tour 72. I lost my ticket, and it had sold out quickly. I was a huge Cooper fan, and was pissed . Well, I'm finally going to see him after 51 years, may 9th in Champaign, I'll . I'm stoked!!!!!

I hadn't realised he owned a 1977 Holden Torana Hatchback. They recently stopped making Holdens altogether, which means his Torana can only go up in value. He first came to Australia in 1977. I saw him at the Sydney Showground Moore Park.
I remember coming home from school and running upstairs to my bedroom and just screaming and falling back downstairs,I had just seen a ghost my mum said it was one of the pictures I had on my wall of Alice cooper but this was no picture,the bad thing was she made me take all 28 pictures down but she didn't make me throw them away so I could still kiss him every day.by the way I was 16 at the time.
