This is really good. Honestly I was on the fence on this show, still am kinda, but Alice is the saving grace of this show. Her character and backstory are so powerful and compelling, it keeps me watching
Unpopular opinion: this show is great and Rachel kills it as Alice. I didn’t mind the pilot. Yes it could have been better, but I mean it’s a starting point
Alice is the only thing that saves this show I'm sorry I just not feeling the other characters and I hate how kate worry about the other characters and not beth/alice I know she a done crazy shit but look at what she been a 13 year old girl to get abused
I agree though is not true that Kate doesn't care about Alice is just that, in my humble opinion, Ruby Rose wasn't able to act this characther like she should have. She has like 4 facial expressions in all 20 episodes while her caratcher is raging against a variety of conflicting emotions regarding Alice. Rachel did an excelent job with Alice so the end result is that she completely overpowers Ruby and you end up caring more about a raging psycopath who, althuogh has her sound resons for being so, still remains a paycopath serial killer, than the hero of the story; you shouldn't root for Alice the entire season. Which I did, for me it was the only thing worth watching all the rest including Nocturna which I absolutely loved in the comic books was either written or acted bad.
@@athousandandonenights11 Kinda, but on the other hand, she is young enough to pass as a mother, and she was only sort of Tamsin's mum while she was readjusting after her Valkyre resurrection. Plus do you really thing she'd let the kid call her Grandma? ;) I know what you mean though.
Lonly Wanderer I should have clarified that it was a joke 😅. Kenzi acting like Tamzins mother and Tamzin calling her mom was one of the most hilarious things about the show and it made their relationship great. Obviously Kenzi never actually saw herself like her mother or expected to have a parent/grandparent relationship with Tam Tams child. I do miss that show though.
