@@summerxforever don’t worry you’re not rude, in the 2010 version she’s terrified of falling down the hole and in the 1951 version she’s just like “oh I’m falling okay then” and doesn’t seem bothered by it. I just found it a bit humorous.
I think the movies are somehow connected cause I'm the 2010 one in the beginning where she tells her father about the dream she had so I'm guessing this cartoon is her her dream but when it became into a reality she was scared or something idk lol
@@star_skaterr8401i’m pretty sure because in the 1951 film she had her skirt as a parachute, whilst in the 2010 adaptation she was actually falling straight down?
I guess it was curiosity that overcame common sense. Also, its hilarious how Alice says "Goodbye!" when she falls down the hole. And the cat just casually waves like "Goodbye, Alice! Hopefully you survive this fall!"
"I imagine right now you're feeling a bit like Alice..tumbling down the rabbit hole? What you know you cant explain but you've felt it your entire life."
1:08-2:00 These days I really like seeing Alice floating down the rabbit hole with her skirt puffed out like a parachute because like many actors in the 1950's Kathryn Beaumont who voiced Alice was also used as the model for Alice's animation and she always said being the model for when she was floating down the rabbit hole while wearing the Alice dress with it's skirt puffed out like a parachute was her favorite acting for the model.
I guess after two world wars the audience wanted to see a brave Alice more than a anxious one. Plus, it’s a movie for children and that said there shouldn’t be any anxiety displayed -just curiosity. But I get what you want to say. Nowadays people are more in touch with their feelings than back then. It’s ok to show weakness or being anxious …
This is so much trippier than the remake. The remake was so dull and had no sense of wonder or fantasy at all, the atmosphere they were going for didn’t work at all. (But I’m biased as the original is my favorite movie)
I love Alice in Wonderland. " Oh, I'm falling down a rabbit hole? Oh well. Let's just accept the bizarre environment and the crazy acid-trip goings-on."
When I was studying about the story of Alice In Wonderland in the sixth grade this was the first adaptation they put before playing the Tim Burton version 😅
She was simply Bored the the neutrality and logic of the real world that she decided to create a new free imaginary world where she could free play with a lot of friends and have an easier life 😅 which lead to thrilling mixed up through Wonderland
I like how she doesn’t even care that much about her situation. If i were in her spot I’d be screaming my head off before the queen of hearts even considered my existence!
My mom was so afraid of this movie, she said when she was a kid it scared her. She kept saying Alice was sucked down the hole. I went back and watched it, I told her mom Alice fell down not sucked down. I asked a lot of my friends and they said No Alice fell down. Till this day my mom is 66 years old and she still thinks Alice was sucked down the hole.
this movie made me a walking hazard to myself because i thought my dress would turn into a parachute every time i fell down something, and i tried to fall down EVERYTHING lmao
"And when White Rabbit comes to that fantastic note where the rabbit bites its own head off, I want you to throw that fuckin' radio... into the tub, with me!".
Dinah: Meow! Alice: You know, Dinah, we really shouldn’t…uhh…uhh…be doing this… After all, we haven’t been invited! And curiosity often leads to troubl - l - l - e - e - e! Goodbye, Dinah! Dinah:Meow! Alice :Goodbye! … Oh! Well, after this I shall think nothing of fa-… of falling downstairs! … Oh! Ahhh… Oh, Goodness! What if I should fall right through the center of the earth… oh, and come out the other side, where people walk upside down. Oh, but that’s silly. Nobody… oh! Oh, ha ha. Oh, mister Rabbit! Wait! Please! … Curiouser and curiouser!
It's my favorite Disney movie of all time, and both of the family cats have an Alice In Wonderland connection. My husband named our boy 'Mimsy' (after the portmanteau in the Jabberwocky poem), and I named our girl Dinah. Sometimes (because cat owners are dorky) I'll mimic Alice and say, "Oh, Dinah." when she's doing something silly, or begin an announcement with, "You know, Dinah..." And I wish Alice's kitten had gotten more marketing in the way of art prints or ceramic figurines or something.
cars channel she has such a beautiful blue dress. When it puffs open like a parachute, it’s like she has wings that help her float down the rabbit gracefully like a swan (her spirit animal)
Ya and people laugh thinking its funny, meanwhile disney is laughing at these idiots for laughing at the cartoon which is clearly mocking them and people have no clue whatsoever
As a child, I’d find the white rabbit hilarious and wondering what’s up with his constant hustle. Now that I’m older, I can finally understand him. The white rabbit is my spirit animal now :D
0:49 Wait how is she getting through so easily? The cave roof looks like it’s still the same height, and if she had trouble fitting her butt through the first part wouldn’t it still be too big for the rest of it?
From the outside it looks the same height thus making it look like she has a big bottom. If it looked the same from inside, said bottom would have been quite stuck. So, yes, her bottom too big and Impassible for that hole.
Alice: Oh Dinah! Its just a rabbit with a waistcoat… and a watch! White Rabbit: Oh my fur and whiskers! I’m late, I’m late I’m late! Alice: Now this is curious! What could a rabbit possibly be late for? Please, sir! White Rabbit: I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date! No time to say hello, goodbye! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late! Alice: It must be awfully important, like a party or something! Mister Rabbit! Wait! White Rabbit: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, I’m overdue. I’m really in a stew. No time to say goodbye, hello! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late! Alice: My, what a peculiar place to have a party. Dinah: Meow! Alice: You know, Dinah, we really shouldn’t…uhh…uhh…be doing this… After all, we haven’t been invited! And curiosity often leads to troubl - l - l - e - e - e! Goodbye, Dinah! Goodbye! … Oh! Well, after this I shall think nothing of fa-… of falling downstairs! … Oh! Ahhh… Oh, Goodness!
