Although Alicia is no longer with us, God now has another great piano legend with him for heavan concerts along with Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and Chopin.
I'd love to hear the recording of that recital, in which she played the complete Chopin Preludes, Op. 28 preceded by the Granados Escenas and the Falla Fantasy...I still remember being thrilled to attend that performance at the Kennedy Center in Wash, DC...surely a recording of that same programme from this documentary must exist somewhere...even many years later, I still remember her totally inspired Chopin that evening, one of the most beautiful I've ever heard.
