Iam from Germany. I went to New York last year for the first time. Everything made sense at the very first moment I saw that Skyline checked into our hotel 800m away from times Square. After a over 18 hours day in the middle of the night we ran down the street to times Square and all came together. Everytime I hear this song and I loved it before tears run down my cheeks because of this wonderful feeling in my heart and the urgent need to get back. Much power from Germany for all you fellow Americans and all the people around the globe. Sty strong. There will be light and one day we meet there in this wonderful city not knowing we know each other but with the love in our hearts. Big love

What's amazing about this, is her intro is "New York State of mind" by Billy Joel. Then she kicks into Empire State of mind. I always felt her version was the perfect modern-day sequel to Billy Joel's original. They both have so much heart.
