+Mohamad Remmo She belts too much in many of her songs. If she keeps doing that she's going to have a vocal hemorrhage like some others singers have had. She said she regretted writing Girl on Fire in a high key and one time when she was performing the song she almost hurt her lungs. Very dangerous. In my opinion she sings no better than the average person who tries to sing.
Carla Fr i respect your opinion, but i have 2 disagree because for me she is one of the best singers in this generation, but i agree with u on the "girl on fire" key part.
Mohamad Remmo There are so many singers out there who sings much better than her and I'm sure most people would agree. A real singer shouldn't be belting all the time. You couldn't honestly say she sings better than Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blidge, Tony Braxton, Whitney Houston and the rest. For Alicia it was never about her singing ability, it was about her songs. I can understand if you love her music. Music is one thing, singing ability is something else.
