Alien (1979) Modern Trailer 

"Alien"(1979) is a horror sci-fi movie masterpiece! This is probably the best movie of all time for this Kind!

Really captures a modern day blockbuster-feeling trailer as it spoils how the Alien looks like.

While i appreciate the old trailers for leaving things ambiguous and creating an atmosphere of enigma, this trailer is absolutely outstanding! It's well made, and very appropriate for this era.

I wish it didn't show so much of the xenomorph, but other then that this is great. My favourite film ever

Movie: Alien Director: Ridley Scott A breathtaking visionary Horror /Science Fiction movie of unequalled quality,added with the outworldly atistry of H.R..Giger, a cult movie in every sense of the word. Most interesting is that a transmission of unkown origin dating from September 1998 detected by NASA is labelled as an SOS call, but perhaps it was a general warning for all sentient beings.

I watched this movie in the cinemas, almost three years ago digitally remastered. And it was the best experience I had. And I made it, one of my favorite movies.

This is amazing! The original is definitely more visceral and mysterious, but this one feels almost like a tribute, and having a more conventional format allows for the use of some very good shots.

I was at the a New Theater in Corpus Christi Texas that May in 1979 and I can tell you no one nobody knew this was going to hit them this hard people were in shock , we as real fans find that a little hard to understand This is is possibly the best Sci-Fi movie Story of all time and only getting better. PS: They passed out nice books and posters to the first 50 people I still have mine.

THIS WAS AMAZING! I had goosebumps the whole second half of that. A couple of shots felt a bit mis-timed, maybe leave things like the cat hissing and that for the dramatic ending, but other than that ... awesome! I really loved how you added the noise from the original trailer too. Awesome job!

Ive always loved this shot at 1:41, with the colossal Nostromo being dwarfed by the gas giant, slowly drifting past. But that planet on the right has also always bugged me in the way that it is lit, it shouldnt be lit halfway unless the planet itself is just the size of a red star and isnt that far away OR the sun in the system is just super tiny and really close to the gas giant. Nonetheless, that little visual matte-painting oddity aside, the shot is absolutely gorgeous.

you pretty much created how hollywood would have made a trailer for alien in 2014. The original trailer was much better because it left much more to the imagination.

Alien (1979) directed by Ridley Scott and The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter both of them are the greatest sci-fi horror movies ever created and it's because both of them are all about fear and paranoia and isolation as well:).

Way better than the original trailer IMHO, but also because this was a restored version and full HD. I can't seem to find the original trailer restored. Can't even tell this is from 1979 looking at that.

Bravo, lad. Well done. I like this better than the original. My one complaint is that when you show the credits at the end, at the very top it says, "A Film By Dan O'Bannon", and Mr. O'Bannon obviously did not make the film, only wrote it. Otherwise, beautifully done.

I love this updated trailer, but, it is definitely for people that have already seen the film because it shows too much of the movie for first time viewers.

Beautiful modern trailer adaptation...but absolutely builds no real suspense and spoils the creature feature.

Well made. Shows how crap trailers are today. Full of spoilers. Look at the original and se the difference.

Modern trial is not good. We see what the alien looks like already. Learn something from the original - it has no words, but has so much going on, and never gives anything away. It's far superior !
