Thumbs up if you first heard this song on the soundtrack to the first Spider-Man movie. I will always be a fan of Spider-Man till the day i die and beyond! ^^
starcrossofficial Me too alright...an' that's when I start to love Spidey and all superheroes even much more from that time on!!!! Plus I even got a bunch of comic books in my room! LOL
I remember buying the soundtrack on CD and playing the hell out of it. So many great songs on it like Shelter, Bother, Invisible Man, Bug Bytes, Hero, Blind, She Was My Girl and What We're All About.
The first one I heard was Rollercoaster. "I wanna take you on a rollercoaster." It was from the very first trailer before the towers fell. Imagine how different the movie would have been if the towers did not fall. Imagine how different life would be.
This song randomly came up in my head and I couldn’t think of the title at all. I knew in somehow it related to Spider-Man Sam Raimi’s trilogy. But couldn’t think of the song or band. The only think about was the main riff and the rhythm of the vocals. It eventually became days and weeks and months when I finally got to my computer. On my computer I have a good collection of music and I tried multiple bands that I thought could possibly be where the song is from. Then I found out about the Spider-Man trilogy soundtracks that were on my computer. I finally found this and can happily listen without going crazy.
The first of the spider man Trilogy sound track! my then b/f (now husband) got this and played it all the time before his tape got eaten in the car....couldn't believe he got the tape and not the CD.
+Adam Johnston I agree. I think that Alien Ant Farm is pretty underrated and everyone immediately knows them because of Smooth Criminal but they do have a lot of good songs besides that such as this, Dark In Here, Movies, etc.
Agreed! I'm pushing 40 myself, and I got this as a birthday present as a teenager. I was already on the hard rock path, but this cemented it! I got more into metal in college. 🤘🤘🤘
@woww4444 I'm 23 and this song was in the Spider-Man: Music From And Inspired By. I would play it on my DVD player in the car back when I was 7 or 8. The whole soundtrack cemented my taste in metal without me even knowing lol
in 2017 i was working in a kitchen in summer camp. the live version of this song was being played on the speaker and I couldn't shazam, tried looking for it over the past 3 years. Ended up ordering the AAF dvd and lo and behold in their live set, there it was! One of their best songs IMO.
I made you feel like nothing, It use to make me happy to see you on the floor The steel cage is binding, I’m broken down and nervous just still wanting more Eight reasons in me strong hands, I slipped in shaky fingers like tiny grains of sand Your legs still wrapped around me. It’s quite a web you’ve spun around her, And now she’s scared and hanging It’s quite a web you’ve spun around her, She’s in her frozen painting.
I’ll sing you anything I would swing from anything I would give you everything To not leave you hanging half remaining. Feeling strange (feeling strange) Not so human (not so human) I forgot who I am Something has changed that your going to find Feeling drained (feeling drained) Far from human (far from human) I forgot who I am Something has changed that your going to hate All I can say is I’m not quite the same.
To much of nothing these days, You often hold me tightly I owe you everything You must be going crazy, Opinons staking nicely and I’m still promising Of all those precious moments, We tremble its just on us we’re only to unwind Your legs have wrapped around me. I’ll sing you anything I would swing from anything I would give you everything To not leave you hanging half remaining.
I'm walking down Monte Vista Ave to my friend TJs house with a cd player in my pocket and an extra set of batteries. I did not have earbuds, nope, the big fuzzy over the ear headphones. I got a dude to buy me a couple of 40s. For whatever reason, that day is AAF to me. Probably just youth
