I've seen other speculate it's a blood pressure issue. It could be any number of underlying medical conditions. When Chrome first released in 2009 one of the very first plugins for it was a RU-vid comment hider that would prevent comments from loading on the entire site. The idea that the dents needed him to disable his comments is absurd.

I don't think it's "soft" to consider old videos and the comments therein a time capsule. There's a kind of discovery in seeing how thoughts/observations on a piece of content have changed over the years. On how you can have a surge of comments initially, a lull, then another surge years later. There's a fascination in a video where someone or something connected to it had a big piece of news, of any flavor, connected, and then how the tenor of the comments changes in response. Also, good to see you keep your crow friend fed.

You're right that DSP space Gaming is looking for any excuse to not play games, or someone to validate that there are forces outside his control that are making him underperform. Anyone who tells him to put in more hours, to stop making excuses and learn matchups, we don't want that here. We want more bathroom breaks, more eyedrop segments, and more stories about back in the day. I think Reduced Input Delay was the shortest season by far. We had maybe a week or two of DSP telling everyone that he finally fixed the issue, that SF6 netcode is actually good before he went right back to complaining about dropped inputs and playing underwater. I think the writers realized this was too much character progression and walked it back.

The lengths he will go to defend his fragile ego, no amount of blinking is going to save your win/loss ratio.

Playing a video game isn't fucking hard, it's one of the least stress things you can do. God forbid you need to take a break every hour, work places must hate you.

Every time DSP complains about the "complications" that he gets from playing games only shows just how bad his health is! He literally complains about sitting and playing for couple of hours and lists all the things that start hurting him. Just a comparison: I'm few years younger than DSP but I just spent 8+ hours with my friend playing the new Borderlands. And I wasn't thinking about my posture and I was instead on a sofa like a bag of potatoes. Plus I didn't drink anything besides a cup of tea and a glass of water and I didn't stretch constantly. And I'm also allergic to dogs and my friend allows his dog and cat on the sofa so of course I was getting itchy on my eyes! But I still played with my friend for that 8+ hours and I didn't need a day off to recover from that! So DSP must be just few years from needing a mobility scooter...
