My dad saw the Phoenix lights and to this day people that have been here for a long time either saw them or knows someone they trust saw them. There's no way it was mere thousands, I bet it's in the tens of thousands that saw those lights.

Considering how a large number of people still belive in flat earth and don't understand the curvature of the earth....its not unbelievable that a guy went into a cave then came out and wrote a book about how the earth is hollow.

I remember the Phoenix lights. A friend of mine and her father, by then a major in the air force, saw them. He vehemently states that it's not a flair.

A few comments (I'm only halfway through, so forgive me if this gets edited later): 1: I love this "recap" style, and I almost might like something like this for every big group of videos you do, or every season of TMM or whatever. Helps me remember all the individual stories you talked about, and reveals some of the patterns. I definitely think you've mostly figured out what you're doing here, and it shows. 2: For Oumuamua, I think it's pretty easy to explain all the media hype and insistence on aliens: it sells. It has the perfect storm of just enough detail to be convincing, but just enough plausible explanation to keep debates hot. Every so often, some news site digs it up on a slow news day and finds just enough new to run it again. It goes viral again, and everyone else just follows those clicks until it settles down again. Of the countless UFO stories, even recently, at least one of them had to strike the right balance.

Then there was the story of this guy, who could apparently turn water into wine incidentally, who was executed, but somehow three days later, came back to life...

Honestly the government doing a double bluff over Oumuamua would be a genius move for them exactly for the reasons you stated. They seem to be pushing it so much no one sane can believe the government thinks this is really aliens. It's probably a weird rock though.

Two interesting things: On the Phoenix lights, I was at Ft. Huachuca, AZ shortly after that time. They had a school for unmanned aerial vehicles there, which had students in the Navy. I was there for intelligence school in the navy, and we all obviously noticed and wondered about the "other sailors" on an army base nowhere near water. There was constantly a large tethered blimp flying above the base visible for many miles. We heard tales that it had equipment that "Could read a newspaper in Tucson". I don't have first hand knowledge on that, and of course they didn't call the sighting the "Tucson Lights". If the lights were part of a military unmanned vehicle(s), they may have had training there. I don't know. Second, on the underground military bases: While browsing the recently released JFK assassination records, I found a document that was a bit out of place. There is a short document discussing a VERY large facility, and how they wished to avoid the release of documents that mentioned its existence. It is apparently used extensively, and is in a delicate balance. It is both very visible, and very busy. I can point you in the direction of the document. I suspect it is discussing a major intelligence facility, using an international airport as a cover story.

Before you do the Warren's I just want to address the suspicion that comes from janet laughing even though they are supposedly being haunted Firstly, kids will be kids no matter what situation Secondly, my dad as a kid was about to fall off the edge of a cliff and he also has seen a demon descend from the roof whenever we tell stories like this we believe that they are true but we laugh telling these stories if at nothing else but the reactions of the people hearing the stories

Basically, the UFO theories are everyone writing their self insert OCs into their favorite anime.

I saw a UFO 8 years ago. I was walking with a friend on a canal behind where I live. We were looking up at the stars and my friend said, “hey what’s that red light?” I said oh it’s a tower antenna. (There where radio towers with red lights across the canal.) “it’s moving!” He said. No it’s not.... I paused mid statement because as I turned my head I saw 👀 something leaving me dumbfounded. Across the canal about 1/8 mile there was a red glowing orb moving as though it was buoyant flying over the power lines! Everything in me said run! (here’s the thing the feeling I had at that moment is hard to explain. Of course I was scared but there was this underlying feeling I was being watched. But it was like how a lab rat must feel in an experiment. It’s hard to describe.) I turned and made my friend walk back quickly.

'm in my 50's. when I was a kid in the 70's I was always a reluctant skeptic.But now that everyone had a camera in their pockets it's amazing that nobody can seem to get clear definite photos. I believe what the military personnel and airline pilots are seeing is super secret black ops equipment.

I wonder how gravity would affect a plane flying through a hollow planet

When I hear a lot of these alien stories I always imagine that it's a bunch of delinquent alien youth flying out to harass the local yokels. Think about it, flashing lights, just like some young guys with RGB on their cars or scooters and always the mischief with turning off electronics and kidnapping cows.

Don't know how much you've read into "Alien Interview"...but in hindsight, the "green goblins" might have been "non-biological exploration bodies" as well.

It's a far, far bigger leap of logic to *not* believe in extraterrestrial life than *to* believe in it. Whether or not they visit Earth in retro style spaceships is a different story, but it's almost foolish to not relive in aliens.

I've seen one of the triangular ufos at night and I only noticed it because I noticed a star disappear. My girlfriend and her brother saw it also, it was completely silent and there weren't any lights below it. I can't explain it, we all saw it, but couldn't get a photo because phone technology wasn't the greatest at that time and it was dark with no light outside.

I wish you had done a deep dive into everything Bob Lazar. There are a few things that don’t add up there and seem different than virtually every UFO case you have talked about. 1. It seems the government really wanted to discredit him publicly as opposed to using him as a disinformation pawn. He seemed to have information that was originally discredited when he 1st made his claims, but a lot of his details seem more believable now, which is unique. 2. I don’t think he’s mentally unstable, he’s shown no signs of that. 3. The government painted him as a conman trying to cash in, but he really hasn’t. He could’ve made millions on the ufo circuit, books, tv deals, etc. he could’ve been the face of ufo disclosure. Instead, he just gives an interview every decade or so and none seem to be for any real money, up until the last documentary, which that may have been more lucrative.He’s become more “infamous” than “famous”. Nothing about his original story or perpetuation of that story helps his actual life or his legitimate business, etc. 4. He seems to believe his own story, at least, he doesn’t have the body language of someone being deceptive and his story has stayed relatively consistent over the years. 5. Even the media loves to try to discredit him. Bob Lazar isn’t Steven Greer, who’s story is obviously entwined with his own ego, Bob Lazar didn’t cash in on all the money he could have made, the government seemed to treat him a bit different than other people telling a ufo story. He could make all that ufo money and instead he’s helping a prostitution ring “modernize” in 1990 and go “paperless”, so to speak. He’s getting fined for transporting chemicals to make fireworks in 2006. He’s getting raided by the FBI in 2017, that turned up nothing. It’s all a very strange story and totally unique in the ufo world in basically every way. His behavior does seem to be someone who doesn’t want the spotlight and who isn’t crazy or trying to cash in. He seems like he is genuinely hassled by the whole thing, which makes me wonder what would be his motivation for the original story and for maintaining that story for over 3 decades? He’s either taking “playing the long game” to a whole new level or there’s something else there?

You're making the best when it comes to this kind of content. I'd love to hear you talk about simulation theory and such some day. I feel like it's worth a skeptical approach. Like, I always wondered about how ghost sightings always have clothed ghosts, but in the context of our reality being a simulation, suddenly that sort of thing feels like it can make sense.

The reason Oumuamua is so interesting is mainly because it's so weird to our instruments and comes from outside the solar system. If we can figure why it had those weird readings then we can improve our knowledge of the data we collect and make it easier to accurately identify the characteristics of future objects. Those characteristics have a huge potential to give us clues about what goes on in interstellar space. We still have a long way to go before we can be certain what all readings mean. The mainstream media likes to talk about the things that catch peoples attention though. They will always be biased that way. And the vast majority of scientists says "Not aliens".

So glad that Skeptic is still keeping to his intriguing ways of making videos. This whole Tell Me More Season 2 kind threw me in for a loop but super grateful things were cleared up and legit good questions/thoughts were brought up. A big cheers now more than ever to see your channel still going Skeptic. You've quality of work never stops to draw me into it. Keep it up and take it easy for the break. *tips hat*

I think I was scared of aliens when I was a kid so I have always been fascinated by UFO sightings. I don't necessarily believe anything but I am also not arrogant enough to think everything can be understood and explained by our current scientific models. I was a high school senior when the lights were seen by hundreds of people, I saw a newspaper article and I remember thinking 'this is it, we are going to find out something' and in typical military/government fashion nothing but dismissal and lies. I think that was the point when I lost all respect for authority.

Maybe another good series would be to debunk famous ufo/alien/paranormal story. Like "The McPherson Tapes", The San Pedro Haunting, sky trumpets, the Man from Taured, or the Loveland Frogman. Just a few ideas...

That's funny about the Jim Penniston story because "Flight Chief" is typically a position held by a Master Sergeant, occasionally filled by a Tech Sergeant, and very rarely (if ever) filled by a Staff Sergeant. I find his story extremely unlikely.
