I'm a bit addicted to getting out in the inflatable kayak at the moment, it is just so easy to store inflated and pop on the roof racks really fast and go for a sneaky session when the opportunity presents itself.
This is just some footage from a few trips recently where I tried out the ZX35 ecogear vibe and capture a weird fish that looks like it's parents were a dusky flathead that was bumping uglies with a whiting, that said, if you know what it is let me know in the comments!
I also run through all the gear that has been helping me get out there all winter in comfort fishing.
Rod and reel are Daiwa Tierra, the reel (2500 size) had a dunk and is getting a bit pepper grinder-y now 😩, Daiwa Tierra (21 TD 701MLXS) Rod is new and is starting to grow on me as I wasn't a fan straight away because it wasn't like a bit of spaghetti but now thinking the faster action is getting more hookups and transmits bites through the blank better, so I can't complain.
The Itiwit kayak floor join separates in a couple of areas and we repair using a GearAid repair kit with great success.
