Great Video, I appreciate it. I work as a Armed Security Guard so I'm always looking for something good that benefits me for work. Also thank you talking about the different Gun Light that will fit this holster ( I'm thinking about getting a PL-3R Valkyrie Rechargeable Rail )👌
tiberiousgib could you do a review on USCCA it's a gun insurance for people who conceal carry, basically they would assist you with getting a Lawyer incase you had to defend yourself. I would like to see your thoughts on if it is worth it 🤔
I have the low ride and a couple things I wanted to say is that the standard belt loop it comes with is adjustable for cant. That is a big plus over Safariland because you have to buy the cantable belt loop separately with their holsters. Also, with Alien Gear's belt loop, you can easily slide is a leg strap because the screws connect towards the bottom of the holster, whereas Safariland screws towards the top. Lastly, with the standard belt loop, you can adjust the loop for belt size - another plus over Safariland where you have to buy a fixed size for your specific belt. One last thing, the looks are a lot more aggressive and futuristic-looking than Safariland. I get what you mean that it looks unprofessional, but at the same time Safarilands are looking kind of outdated, especially with how you have to manually push the SLS hood with your thumb. One thing worth mentioning is how Alien Gear really made the level III as fast as a level II with the push mechanism to move the hood. Last final thing I wanna say… to save even more money you can just buy the shell for about $80 if you already have other mounting hardware to use it with.
FYI "Made in the USA" means it was really made in China or another similar country and exported to the USA in a few parts. Those parts then get assembled and packaged then shipped to American stores.
quick question, as i watched the video and when you went to un holster multiple times it looked like the gun snagged or got caught up on your draw which in turn looks you lose some valuable time on your draw when its needed. is there a reason it seems to be getting caught on the holster during draw?
