I appreciate the support! I'm hoping to get some more firefight games in. It might be a few months though. We have the promo for OPR's narrative campaign in February and possibly some vampiric undead in March :)

Great video, enjoyed watching it! Regarding the spell damage morale; the rules only say "whenever the unit takes a wound that would leave it with half or less... it must take a morale test". So it really sounds like that would include the casting, nothing implying otherwise :)

Thank you! I think spells should be considered another attack. If a unit is attacking with multiple weapons that do damage they get lumped together so it makes sense to me that spells would too.

@@hauntswargaming Yeah that makes sense. Only issue I could see with that is if you cast on one unit and then attack another one. But could easily be fixed with just adding a few words "...take a morale test at the end of the turn". Might houserule it that way for now, though I don´t really want to as I play Change Demons haha

Casting occurs before attack, but attacks occur simultaneously, so it seems fairly clear you can trigger morale with a spell and then again with weapons in the same activation.@@hauntswargaming

I like this terrain set. Mostly items from the recycle bin? Do you have any footage of how you painted the Dwarven vehicles (attack craft and drill)? I like the weathering effect on those. The special rule and spell pop-ups are nice.

Thanks! The buildings are from my Mos eisley set, which is almost entirely made out of recycled stuff. I try to always link the videos/links for my terrain in the description. I don't have any footage of the painting process, but the weathering was mainly just a dark brown oil dip, then I use a make up sponge or paper towel to remove selected areas . The oil wash I use has some chunks of paint in it. It works really well for muddy effects. Usually you want to give the model a coat of varnish before doing an oil wash, unless you don't mind it darkening the whole thing.

Hive warriors attacked dwarve warriors AND the tank?! Different weapons can be used against multi units? That is game changing for my games. Is that a house rule or have I miss understood that aspect?

Yeah you can split fire. You can target up to two different units as long as you have two or more weapon profiles.

Question: At 10:24 the Psycho-Rex does 16 attacks. Heavy Razor Claw does 6, Stomp does 4, so that's 10. I am missing where the additional 6 come from, can you help explain that attack combo to me.

Either we got it wrong or the rules were different at the time. They changed the rules for that army quite a bit unfortunately.
