Guys, the xeno can and will get you while you're on the ladder. What the xeno can't do is climb the ladder himself, so if you use a ladder to change floors, he has to go around some other way. The ladder will not make you invincible.

In some moments of the game I stayed on ladder and he didn't touch me.
