Alien Isolation - "I´ve got the meds" uncut full video - Nightmare + Insane AI Mod 

I have beaten the game at least 20 times in all modes it is the most fascinating video game that exists I love it

Alien does not just rip stuff open. He checks to see if what he is looking for is in there. Meaning this monster is much better at looking for prey than I am for a lost wallet or keys.

So this mod basically forces you to hide in lockers only? If so, that would be deal breaker for me. It's just too gimmicky. Also, the most tense moments in this game occur, when you press against an object at the last moment and the Alien is walking right past you. I imagine having to hide in lockers by default is simply not very engaging. It just forces you to play the "lean back and don't breathe" mini game, until you have run up the tab too far and the Alien rips off the door anyway.

Does hiding under and behind things just not work? I hate the lockers, the amount of noise she makes getting in and out just kills me. Also I really enjoy your videos.

At 17:35 you can see "stars" in the periphery of her vision as she catches her breath. That's such a cool little detail I've never noticed before. edit: And happens the other times too.

10 yrs later and i still love playing this game and watching playthroughs of it. I never get tired of it.

I think the amount of time you spent in that locker is why I wouldn't bother with this mod/difficulty.

I hope so much they make a Alien Isolation 2 or some modders make a co-op mod

It would be interesting to see the Insane AI mod combined with the Unpredictable Alien mod. It'd probably make the experience easier, but should nonetheless increase the tension.

Nice game I never played just started and it was not for me. In this insane AI mod it definitely will be. I like how over the top careful you have to be.

Someone needs to make a video showing how you charge the baton for multiple shocks. I only watch videos, but I still don't know how, and playsers seem to only use it once and never again.

This game A.I will keep learning base on your actions n behavior, if u hiding in locker too much, the alien will learn this n in future its an instant death sentance the moments it sees locker arounds it.

This definitely captures the feel and the spirit of the first 2 movies (Alien especially)

Why no flares ? Some minimum control over the dice is a game changer.

hiding under those desks and counters is a far better option than the lockers and mini-lockers

No motion detector? Cool. No Tools? Cool. No Saving? Cool. Nightmare which means less resources, no map and an already difficult alien with better overall senses? Always awesome. Insane AI mod forcing you to strictly use lockers and the alien checks them every single time, making you hold your breath, take massive damage, use excessive amounts of med kits that you will no doubt run out of constantly, be forced to hide in a locker and die over and over again? Not cool. I don't know how you made it through holding your breath twice before using a med kit, but for me, on nightmare, I could only hold my breath once, and the second time would kill me if the alien checks again. The game was made for lockers and cabinets to be used sparingly, particularly on nightmare. That mod is kind of crappy by severely limiting where you can hide to basically lockers, and on nightmare, the alien is already much better at spotting you if you can see its face. I really don't see how making nearly impossible to hide in anything that isn't a locker improves gameplay. Personally I always found the places that would prevent me from being able to see the alien's face and thus, prevent it being able to see me. So maybe it wouldn't affect me as much, unless that mod allows it to see your pinky toe sticking out from under the table across the room, in which case that is kinda bs.

Must admit, there's nothing more terrifying when you know there's a nasty,horrible and vicious monster out there, and it can get you anytime it wants. Even more terrifying when you know you've got almost no chance of escape from it.:)

I would like to see this Isolation game where the Alien is a full-body AI entity, throughout the entire game, that does not disappear & appear out of thin air per any variable flags depending on your general locale. Currently, the game processes the immediacy & places the Alien at closer proximity to you. The game that I would like is to have the Alien walking anywhere on the whole map of the entire ship, whether that part of the map is loaded in memory or not, it just tracks the Alien even in another part of the ship even if far away. It's a little more realistic this way, just how an NPC or some placed enemy is loaded into a map on another game & stays there on the loaded map the entire time until you find & kill it. But here, since the map is huge, the whole ship is not loaded in, because of the limitations of today's computers. It's at least something to consider for future computers & games. Once you make a mistake, like run around too much, the Alien will "hear" you & runs towards closer to you, even if it's a tenth of a mile away physically on a ship this huge. Some games already do this, but they are smaller maps so they could afford to have a an enemy go towards you if you trigger it. Could it make the game easier, even on nightmare? Sure, but then you change the game more to make it as challenging & frightful as it is already, but still more realistic, like by say, actually having more than one alien roaming on board. Again, something to consider for future computing when hopefully such things as memory sizes are 500-5000 times more than it is now, as in the terabyte or higher regions, just as today's memory sizes are 500-5000 times more than what they were 3 decades ago. Hopefully that all made sense, heh.
