Honestly if Alien Isolation 2 were to ever be a thing (apparently it's in the works) I'd just want it to be the exact same thing, just a new story. Nothing can top what alien Isolation did.
@@petermulder7480 It's still a definitive and iconic Alien movie by most people's interpretation, including the Alien Theory channel. Alien is Sci-Fi/Horror. Aliens is Sci-Fi/Action/Horror. Splitting hairs here.
The graphics are nice here but, the ship interior just doesn't match up. It's too clean and polished. The stuff in isolation has captured the lived-in run down feel from the original movie.
@@generalzod7959 And the random decomposing bodies. I find the fresh bloody mess was much more terrifying. Plus, what's with the model and the way it walks? The majestic grace of the Xenomorph was what made is terrifying in the first game.
It's very well put together but if I may, it just lacks the love and the attention to detail that Creative Assembly put into the world building of this game. The accuracy to Ridley Scott's original film, and it's industrial design was without a doubt one of the best things about Alien Isolation. I saw Alien as a kid in 1980 and I played Alien Isolation in VR in 2017. I have never deleted it from my PC yet. To this day I still like to don the headset and explore that world because it just so well done and accurate to the original. I think that's what a lot of younger fans misunderstand about what makes Alien (the original) so special. Despite that, you've done a very nice job with creating suspense and a cool ride. You deserve props for that for sure.
I love how the alien moved like Tony Manero at the beginning ahahah And the fact that YOU COULD SEE IT behind the door, behind you, at the end, is creepy.

The visuals are well done, my biggest criticism is that the architectural design just doesn’t match the retrofuturism in Alien. But I love the concept!
If alien isolation 2 or 3, since alien black out released and is part of the story. I hope the game has some multiplayer in it if not that's cool but just surviving with a friend of mine would be so fun to me.
I must admit, I did like the design of the Raven Alien from the colonial marines game. It was by far the scariest looking one of them all. Like seen here in a isolation style of game play. It would have my nerves on edge constantly whilst playing the game.
Drop the jet black metal infrastructure and the neon colour lights everywhere and I think you got something. Also the setting makes it feel like this is Ridley Scotts Aliens 3 movie. (not the Finchers one we got)
Awesome visuals! One thing I thought the first one lacked was the Alien was far to human like? It needed to move more like a snake and crAwl and jump and walk up and around the walls and things. It either jumped down out of a obvious hole and then just walked around in a straight line. Having it pop out of vents and slither down walls would make it a much more formidable and frightening foe!

ive been waiting for another one since 2014 i love alien isolation so much its the only game ive completely 100% all achievements and finally finished nightmare mode i really hope they make a sequel
Alien isolation 2 can be topped with a gameplay segement like the first game and the second half being badass action where you slay hordes of alien with limited ammo making your way inside the infestation to save your loved one and then barely making an escape at the direst circumstances. Just like the sequel movie "Aliens" , I swear it was so good 😭😭
Nah, i personally think that visual design of original is unmatched. No technology can compete with it's visual design, i am sorry to say it. It's just that much better, that not even UE5 can top it.

Thief arms like a dinosaur. Smell the morning due up front. Her rapid heartbeat was a nice touch. Reminded of a scanner picking up nearby signs.

It is being developed by Saber Interactive and will feature action-adventure gameplay from a first-person perspective.
Nicely done, however, this just don't have the look and feel of the "Alien" universe. Had it not been for the Xeno, I would have no idea that this was set in the Alien universe. What made Alien Isolation so great, was the EXTREME level of detail that matched that first Alien movie so perfectly. I spent just as much time taking in the amazing visuals, as I did hiding from the Xeno.
very atmospheric - could be happening on Gateway station from the start of Aliens. the look of this reminds me of Dead Effect 2 - one of my favourite games. shame we only got an Alien Isolation 2 mobile game - I'd love to play this as a full game
I know alien isolation finished on a cliffhanger, but i always thought, an idea for an alien game, what if you played as newt, and its based on before the marines and riply landed at hadleys hope, and you are trying to survive until they arrive, if anyones read rivers of pain, it somewhat covers this.
Oh nooo, are they putting rubber movie fx physics into videogames now? Everything from the alien, to the camera movement, to Ellen, to the ultra-shininess on every surface, made this look so much less realistic than it could.
Any sequel to Alien Isolation is bound to be disappointing. Its hard to top perfection, but if they come close it will still be a game well worth having.
You know what would have been the perfect ending - if you think you've outrun them, only to discover they deliberately allowed you to run straight into the Queen's lair, where all the eggs are ready to hatch..

Ain't gonna be happening. It's a miracle this was at all greenlit. And Creative Assembly had to develop a mood demo at their own risk to convince Sega to give it a go. Think about it, it's basically an indie kind of thing in the wrapping of a triple-a production, a stress simulator developed by a team of up to 100+. There's a reason why it proved to be divisive. I love it too, but.. you know.
