I finally tried Alien! I was always nervous because people say it’s dark, strong, etc.. But! OMG! It’s so beautiful!!! Don’t be scared! It’s the best fragrance I have found in a long time! I want all versions now!

I just found a sample of Alien EDP while I was sorting out my perfumes. I was scared to try it too. So glad I dabbed some on, because I am completely smitten. I immediately ordered some. I’m really curious about the other flankers now.

@@jpzolannski1476 I’m sorry I didn’t see this.. I’m not sure it’s one that you will notice on yourself all day.. I know others have complemented on it when I thought it had faded.. I also will notice it the next day on my clothing.. Like if I’m wearing a sweatshirt or Sweater cardigan when I get cold, etc.. If I go to throw it on the next day I definitely will smell it.. Maybe it just doesn’t have as strong as a throw as the day goes on?? I have been buying the travel versions of perfumes lately.. That way if I don’t care as much it’s not a full bottle but can always mix it with other fragrances, etc.. I like to try new scents too! So it’s a little less expensive this way..

I'm heartbroken that Alien got reformulated when the brand was bought by L'oréal. It's not as strong as it was and it smells a lot soapier.

Yeah I haven't bought it until recently but I remember spraying it at macys and it still being on my clothes 2 days later. Now it doesn't even last a day

I love the change.. There are already so many very similar flanker of alien, its nice to have some changes. Mirage is amazing for the summer and hot climate. I'm getting so many compliments when wearing it.

I love watching Soki because she is so descriptive with her reviewers ever. Even though we tend to have the exact opposite in tastes, I find her reviews to be the most in depth and helpful. I like ambery, woody scents. I know if she likes a perfume, I probably won't and If she doesn't like it I probably will. I just love listening to her talking about fragrances. I absolutely love Alien by the way. It's very unique.

I started my collection early this year and Alien was one of the 4 perfumes I already had, now about 30 perfumes later I'm worried I won't find anything as good Alien ever again and it will remain the best perfume for the rest of my life, and it's scary :D

I absolutely love Fusion and have long wanted to hear your description of it, thanks! It's great in the heat of summer. And the red bottle looks like a gorgeous red jewel. I also love the original Alien, (because I'm a Jasmine addict), but I do need to spray it VERY lightly so it doesn't overwhelm me. I really like it for summer as well. I recently realized one spray of Alien on one forearm is perfect. For me, spraying it on a pulse point changes the smell and makes it unpleasant. But the forearm makes it quite pleasant, light, and even addictive. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the mugler USA website allows 5 free samples with each purchase, 10% discount for returning customers, occasional bigger discounts (like 25-40%), and other BOGO freebies and perks.

Here is a great trick for enjoying heavy fragrances...apply the spray to only your ankles. Works like a charm!

Edit: Turns out the tester that was labeled as Alien EDT in store was actually the sold out Alien Mirage EDT! Bought the regular EDT and was disappointed, I thought they had changed the formula because it smelled like cat wee on me, not the juicy mandarin that I remembered. Or maybe I didn’t wear the tester on my skin long enough. Went back to the store and realized it was DEFINITELY different, and noticed the bottle has clear shoulders with the light purple body, not light purple shoulders like the regular EDT. Took a gamble in buying Alien Mirage off of Mercari and sure enough, that’s the one I love! Not sure why the bottle is blue in pics online when it looks light purple in person. Tl;dr I don’t get the mineral notes in Alien Mirage, to me it smells like the description of Alien EDT, and the bottles look too similar! 😫 I’m in LOVE with the alien EDT, it’s not as bitter as the EDP and the juicy mandarin really comes through for me, it’s gorgeous. And basically as strong as an EDP from any other brand. Recently ordered a decant of the flora futura and I can’t wait!

My memory of Alien is being on a flight from Germany to NY and the flight attendant passed by and I got a whiff of her perfume and I was intrigued by her sillage, I asked her and she told me she was wearing Alien! I have most of them and my favorite is Alien Fusion also.

The original I feel is a great daytime scent to me it’s so refreshing!!! I was in the Bahamas and someone working at the resort instantly identified the perfume I was so happy! I always feel my scents fade on my skin so this was so nice to find

First of all, I really like your top. Suits you well. Second: Alien is still catnip to men (only used one of those 0.5 ml samples that had 1 spray in, so yeah, 1 was definately enough, liked it though). Third: I heard Alien Extraordinaire was quite good (tea and citrus top notes, lighter, summery and still on Muglers website). Also Willow Smith is the new face of the new Alien Goddess (but notes say musk and powdery, so hopefully not too much) and is targetted at Generation Z (said ad on Fragrantica).

I quite like the original EDP but I agree with you, it's VERY strong. As to the Flora Futura, I love the opening, but the dry down reminds me of Cacharel's Lou Lou, which is NOT my favorite. Based on your description, I am almost sure I will like the Fusion flanker best. :)))

I own and love alien eau extrodinare. I always get compliments when I wear it. I think it’s really easy to wear. I tried the Maroge on in the store and it was very nice. I was surprised as the mineral note sounds…different.

Mirage has an awesome bottle. Wish Fusion was in that bottle. Never tried Alien but love the bottle. If I like a bottle i see online and I can get it on sale I'll usually try it. I'm glad I watched this first. I will try Fusion though it up my ally. I love that in the US we havd a sampling service called Scentbird and depending in you plan you can get 1-2 or up to 3 samples of 8ml per month starting at $15.95 some scents require like a $5 upcharge but it's better than doing a blind buy of $70- $100 or more and hate it. Believe it or not I'm not a Versace Bright Crystal fan but just sampled Dylan for Femme Eau de Pafum and loved it just got my new order. It's from the line Confessions of a Rebel fragrance called Get a Room. I don't go around recommending perfumes very often unless it's Juicy Couture one of my favorite lines ever but this one is strong bold for being a Vanilla perfume it doesn't take over lingers as a base (I'm learning about dry down and stuff from you). So we are supposed to have Red Apple Mandarin Cypress Lyquid Vanilla Clary Sage Oil If worn to the office it would have to be by a CEO or simone looking to cut you to BE CEO This is a Sultry perfume so think about this and the message you'd want to send on a date night.

angel is miles miles miles stronger than alien? always has been. also since selling out to loreal all of mugler's perfumes have been reformulated and weakened, they're not half as strong or well lasting as they used to be. the same with the new releases.

Unfortunately, I’m not a huge fan of the Alien line. I tried the original EDP and dislikes it. I’m actually selling it on Mercari with the same username. I wish I loved it, I just don’t. I have to look into some of the others I haven’t smelled.

Completely disagree with your perception of Alien as being a heavy, heady fragrance. I experience it as much lighter and way more ethereal than fragrances like Good Girl or Black Opium, the latter being a juvenile sugar bomb while the former is a vomit inducing, dirty, musky smell. Good Girl is one of the worst smells on the market, imo. Alien on the other hand reminds me of a beach walk at sunset. It’s an airy feminine scent that is grounded by its woody base. It’s feminine but not too feminine, almost unisex.

Love Mugler. Angel edp is spectacular on me- Alien works but is not as refined and complex. Aura edp unfortunately is a fail on my skin. ISO signature scent. Have you lost weight? I love the Angel perfume. Been my staple since 1996. Very strong, though! I go by the name Angel and use to be a pastors wife, my ex-husband wore AMEN. His new wife wore Alien, lol! :)

No alien is not the strongest Angel is the strongest and I do not find aliens from at all you all say alien is from perfume I do not find it strong at all
