Excellent, honest review. I wonder about the "forgivable" aspect, if it can not just be explained by a trigger with a very sharp break and no or little rearward travel? With a longer throw, a "snatch" imparts less force to the frame-until the projectile has had time to leave the barrel.

Bought it last month. Same opinion. Specially the trigger. After training alien for a while. Now i can’t edc my glock. I have to switch to 2011 or 1911 because of unreal trigger from alien ✌️🥰

Faster recovery might be obtained by doing a afternoon of qrtr mile runs on your turbo s.

This is a competition gun right? Kinda surprised they didn't include a compensator. I know the new slide design drastically reduces muzzle rise but a compensator would help reduce that even further; maybe even nearly eliminate it. Can you imagine what kind of splits you would get with a gun like that?

Stay positive and strong mentally. You WILL beat it. Wish my mother was mentally strong on beating cancer. Depression sped up the cancer and she passed away in 18 months.

Agree with Larry that it’s ammo sensitive and seems tuned specifically to the S&B bullet shape and cartridge taper - but only when loaded to cap and only because the short firing pin assembly has to pass over the cartridge to charge the pistol with the slide down - but I’ve run 147 JFP and it runs well - it loads anything I’ve tried from slide lock The magazines are sprung very tight and the feed ramp is very steep But it’s really designed for competition speed reloads You do need to keep it clean like a 1911 but it’s a very simple design and you can clean the whole assembly easily I’m not sure about the unforgiving comment but It does have a 2.5 lb trigger with almost no reset travel - so you want to be sure your on target before you break it lol ! It is very accurate , particularly at speed , in a competition setting it shoots the tightest groups I’ve ever managed - flat and fast like an open gun - often doubles are one hole The lower bore axis and non- reciprocating red dot is absolutely an advantage but it’s still a recoiling pistol and solid fundamentals ,like with any gun , are still required to maximize its benefits
