Ya know the most surprising part of this movie is that Sean bean actually didn't die in it. Thought for sure as soon as I saw he was in it, he'd be dead by the end
Some other movies where he doesn't die : Troy, Flightplan, Shopping, Silent Hill, Silent Hill: Revelation, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Stormy Monday, When Saturday Comes, Ronin, Natural Treasure, Posessor, Wolfwalkers, Sharpe, Pixels and The Martian. Plenty of movies where he lives. It's just that his death scenes have been so memorable.
How these "aliens" can be so advanced, if they didn't think to co-operate with other races to find other solution, to peacefully (for example death-ill/older ones) or by just simply breed them? Instead they choose to annihilate them, which is not just stupid by itself, but also lowers their amount of resources of the "life potions"... Dumb scenarios of these movies, never stops to amaze me.
Made perfect sense to me. Harvesting people was the solution. They seeded thousands of planets with life to later harvest. Like breeding cows for meat, or clones for organs.
It's a little disjointed story-wise and not a lot of in-depth character development but the effects are top-notch, and the acting is decent. Overall, a good action flick.
To bad the haters will prevent anything more coming from it. Wish haters would just move along & mind there own business. Don't like it? Cool but why do you have to say it in every single comment section??? That's just damaging
"Call me Jupe..." stupid movie. PS - 13:58 Bro, the final fight took place on planet Jupiter (inside/beneath the Great Red Spot)...as in our solar system!
Why would the aliens wipe memory but not the technology like the phone with the pictures of the aliens it's so ridiculous but hey! I'm the fool watching
The fact that universe is so big and that we could be being watched by someone/something out in space who want to probably takeover this planet somehow freaks me out T_T
Nothing here makes much sense, but a single shuttle destroying the gravitational atmosphere of an entire planet by crashing - when these civilisations basically are at war? That's a planet sized plot hole.
WELL I WATCHED JUPITER ASENDING YESTERDAY 25/02/2024 FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME AND I WAS AMAZED AT THE ALL BUT CONSTANT ACTION. I REALLY ENJOYED IT BUT TO BE HONEST I DIDNT QUITE TAKE IT ALL IN. I PUT THIS DOWN TO NOT HEARING ALL THE DIALOGUE PROPERLY AS I AM A BIT DEAF. SO I WATCHED THE EXPLANATION ..RECAP AND THAT MADE IT EVEN BETTER LOVED IT. I AM GOING TO WATCH IT AGAIN. I WILL PROBABLY WATCH IT LOTS OF TIMES /// BRILLIANT FILM
1:20 and I decided to bail and watch the actual movie sometime. looks like the kind that gets a horrible rotten tomatoes score and then I absolutely love 😂 Stardust vibes
I liked this movie. Won't ever become one of my favorites, but I don't understand why it got the dislikes it did. It was a bit too young adulty for me, but was a fun watch.
Well... most important thing is said in the title "Aliens Use Earth as a Factory For Humans Who Are Being Harvested For Immortality". That explains a lot!
i must admit i didnt quite get it but i put that down to not hearing alot of the film as my hearing isnt good but still enjoyed it, the recap however made the film alot more understandable really enjoyed the film and i will be watching it again in the not too distant future ///
This movie is an epic sci-fi adventure that takes you on a thrilling journey across the galaxy. The visual effects and cinematography are absolutely stunning, and the action scenes are adrenaline-fueled and well-choreographed. The storyline may be a bit convoluted at times, but the strong performances by Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum keep you engaged throughout. If you're a fan of space operas and action-packed movies, this is definitely worth a watch!"
Me: This thumbnail looks like Jupiter Ascending. Im not watching this recap if it is. *clicks video and stops after 1 second. Me: Nope, bye. I saw this movie in theaters. One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.
im so glad i never watched this movie, the costumes and makeup alone are absolutely horrible. and I know neither Mila or Channing can act. so yeah, this recap is more than enough to confirm what a crapshow this movie was.
Makes you really give a second thought as to why God wants souls. I guess sinners make bad energy. The movie didn't really say this but it's easy to reach this conclusion.
I thought it was about how yummy cheese from Switzerland and Bulgaria is. Doesn't really say that in the movie. But it's obviously about cheese . 🙃🏴🇦🇺
@@iancunningham941 if you accept the premise of the movie where we are all just raised for harvest of something which is not a great leap to call a soul then it is reasonable to take the view that the aliens with god like powers are actually what we think of as god. So, then to to the Christian religion where god is interested in harvesting souls... I missed the cheese scene. I assume that there was an equally obvious corollary there. Good catch with the cheese thing.
