If this movie had focused on Wolf tracking down and exterminating the hybrid and all the other aliens, and the human elements as a background instead of the reversal, this movie would have blown everything else that year out of the water!

It would have blown all the predator films out of the water except the 1st and maybe second. The humans were boring characters anyway, except the older brother with the shotgun
Imagine if the mess had been worse? The ship crashing relatively intact right next to the town, more than a single hybrid, whatever. Would Wolf have brought back up or a much heavier load out?
@@Sealhunt the thing is by the time wolf got to the predalien most of this gear was used up. He’d probably just carry a bit more. He was tussling with the predalien with little to no gear at the end.
Hey man he was a supervisor for district 6 that includes Earth sector that was his job to clean up to monitor all the other predators out on assignment I liked it when he saw what was going on at his console station that they f***** up so he had to go to his arsenal and choose his weapons his favorite and it's not favorite one of them was too small I like that scene
Yeah but what about the Predator from Prey (2022)??? Surely that Predator is far more elite than both Scar and Wolf. He is truly a terrifying Predator!!!

@@troyjohnson1186 may I suggest you search up alien queen mother. She is located primarily at xenomorph prime. She basically has all if not every xenomorph in her command,even queens.
@@polkod Thought I was going crazy there for a moment cause whenever I watched it this was certainly too dark to see. Fun fact… if you look very very closely in that part where Wolf destroys the ship right just before he leaves the crash site, you can actually SEE the other skinned Predators which had been done by the Predalien. In my opinion I’m glad they didn’t showcase this because while I can see a Predalien doing some stuff like that like say rip off a head and spinal column, I don’t think it would exactly just hang the bodies up. I would see it at least filleting and then cocooning them, so it’s more like a combination of what an Alien and Predator would do. That being said though its really interesting to note how it’s still technically in the movie!
They've been engaging in the behavior for so many generations, it's natural it'd become a part of their evolution. It's the same reason humans have the best throw in nature and why our wrists are pronated for tool use.
Every xenomorphs will inherit the traits of their host, so it's no surprise the hybrid has the tendency of collecting skulls but dont really know what's it doing so it just drops the skull and move on
I can imagine that it collects its victims skulls just to bring them to a hive and hang em up somewhere. There was a deleted scene where wolf entered the crashed ship just to see hanging SKINNED predators. One of them being BULL predator.
I fucking love the sewer scene because it showcases Wolf's tenacity and planning. First he scouts it out, not making a single sound, mapping out the area, while keeping an ear out for the Xenos in the area, maybe he can get an idea of how many they are and where they're gathered up. Then, seals off the area with the laser grid, making sure none of them can get out. And finally, uses himself as bait with that roar, so they all come swarming in for the kill. He's not trapped in there with them, *they're* trapped in there with *him* .
I love the detail on his bio mask. He can barely see due to too much heat from the Power Plant, so he had to rely on the Thermal Motion Sensor just to aim.
I don't think people realise how much strength and how tough predaliens body would ahve to be to actually punch out a concrete opening on the street like it did ....
@@LINX29X92 I try to remember off the top of my head I if I remember correctly the directors had talked about how the predalien in the movie was possibly molding into a queen so if it survived it could have molded into a queen maybe I might try to find the source again
I always wondering.. What is this "super uppercut" ? Okay..i see, Wolf overcharge / overload his wrist unit/ wrist blades, or what? Honestly , i dont understand. Seems so cool but i dont understand the technic.
5 things that killed this movie..... 1.cinematography 2. Script 3. Lightning 4. Directors 5.zoomed in shaky cam. You have the perfect breakdown of people who had no business making a movie.
I hated how it ended. Like the girl didn't need to die & how that kid was after Predator. Ignoring Predator saved him twice & girl died cuz she ran. Understandable but not Predator's fault. They took his cannon blast too leaving him unprotected.
Humans were dumbass in this movie. Completely useless. I'd rather watch with only the Predator doing its job hunting the Xenomorphs and have the humans in the background.
@@mattkylie6723 no it's different. Laser gun can be reloaded but plasma caster don't. They need to be recharge or have a backup generator on the back of the predator. Laser gun is way different than plasma bolt caster.

@@lknanml 😂wielding mask and my kid self at the time would wear it but back when it came out I had a box tv and and older gen console that ran dvds and I turned everything up as high as it goes then it was mostly white covering the screen instead of mostly darkness covering the screen 😂
From what I understand, allowing a hybrid to exist at all is considered an abomination and a taint to a whole clans existence thus letting one slide isn't an option for the predators. In this case Wolf is likely both a blooded hunter (a predator that's done a proven and worthy kill, so killed a xenomorph) and likely an elite one at that. If this was in fact a hunt, he was there to earn himself the kill of something that is equivalent to an alien queen which is a huge honor so saying this is just a clean up might not be entirely accurate, but probably a bit of multitasking as well.
Wolf is a elite and came to earth to clean up the mess because humans can't be allowed to have their tech so that's why he blew up the ship. The reasons to kill the xenomorphs could be that he didn't want that the xenos would reproduce and infest the whole planet thus destroying a hunting planet (ofcours not if you want a xeno planet but humans are worthy prey so if you lose them it's a prey species less) and if wolf didn't kill them some other predators would have been send to earth to clean it up and leave
Well fun fact wolf is actually an elite predator and also this wasn't a hunt it was an extermination job he was sent to clean up scar's mess from the first avp movie
Wolf was an elite, which means he had at least one Queen trophy. The predalien isn't a high honored hunt, it's an abomination and a racial insult that the Yautja cannot allow to exist. More to the point, left unchecked it would take the entire planet ruining one of the Yautja's favorite hunting grounds, and prey species.
According to predator lore I believe to achieve elite status you would had to go in to a xenomorph hive,clean everything out and finally kill the queen. You either live to be promoted or die with honer intact.

The potential this movie had even though it’s not THAT bad is painful. But compared to the previous AVP this one’s better. Predaliens are so cool looking I don’t care if they make a 3rd AVP with nothing but Predaliens vs new generation Predators.
Aliens and predator scenes are good but rest of them not needed and makes no sense. Its like low budget poor american classic and best sci-fi ever made in the same movie. It feels weird but still i loved this film.
I love this movie, always have and always will i don't give a damn what anyone thinks. Wolf is my favorite Predator as well, closely followed would be City Hunter from Predator 2. But yeah every Scene with Wolf is just awesome and badass and i love the Gore in this Film and the Predalien Design was so dope as well. The Human Characters are stupid but i don't care about the damn Humans anyways in a Movie that is called 'Alien vs Predator' so not as bad as people want it to make out to be i think. AVP Requiem is fire but that is just my opinion, i love it specifically because of Wolf every scene with him made it worth it to me. And i watched this movie always when i was a kid, with my best friend at the time so it has a special place in my heart just for that alone. ⛓️
I get this film had flaws and I am biased since it is filmed in my hometown, but it is actually pretty awesome. We get a Predalien, a professional "Predator" that isn't hunting but just cleaning up a mess his species created. It has some awesome scenes, literally almost everyone gets massacred brutally, there's some sexiness, just all around awesome.
When i was young i alway wonder why he came alone and not with the team. I guess its just that he wants all the hunting fun for himself or that his race just enjoy soloing
No. He got a message that a ship crashed so he got there to clean up the mess. Since he is a elite hunter he doesn't need a team. When the yautja are younger they hunt in groups because it's needed. After becoming blooded and getting a reputation they can decide if they want to stay in a current group, start a new one by becoming a elder or go hunt solo. Wolf is a solo hunter and doesn't really need others because of his experiences
