Thanks for making these videos. You're the only one making videos about the aliexpress braided solo loops and I appreciate it. Seems like they still haven't quite figured out the tapering at the end of the band, I might wait another month or so to see if more progress is made.

The material differs as well but I don’t think that’s too important as the alternative is still comfortable. The tapering is the biggest issue. More “1:1” listings have appeared but only stock images so can’t trust they’ll be any different

I ordered off ali express (size L for a 44mm). But it’s so narrow. Definitely not as wide as the original?

I think you got a faulty one. I ordered from the same seller as you, from this Jansin Store, but mine is just the same as the original, the connector is perfect and the braid is even. Just as you said the material is a bit rougher. I got the band in blue. If you want i can send some pictures over from mine.

Mine want from jansin store, it was from Shop910560467 Store a.aliexpress.com/_BO8ACL I’ve tested lots of these and some get close to the look but material differs and others simply can’t get the quality control sorted. Either way I hope these video help people find some bargains as many will not be wanting to pay £100/band.

I ordered a few different ones for my oppo watch. Hopefully they are comfortable like the ones you got, but I have my doubts

Ordered another one a month or so ago and when it arrived it was exactly the same despite the description basically showing the origins bands, narrower than they should be and fraying on the clasp part again 🤦🏽‍♂️ Okay for use at work but once they Frey it’s useless and wouldn’t risk using them after that.

I bought like 2 months ago a green braided solo loop for 15$ and it really looks like your legit blue braided loop, idk if the material is the same, but the look is the exactly same

I’ve not found a single one that feels like the genuine band, all are either tougher or like the narrower ones made from a different material (elastic) altogether.

I don’t doubt the look, as you can see from the video one of the bands gets close (just poor quality control works against it) but it doesn’t feel like the genuine one and that’s the key. You can get a product that mimics the genuine item but it won’t feel like the real one is the point I was making. Not yet anyway but I know the replicas always get better so hopefully they’ll soon have it nailed on the quality for those wanting cheaper bands.

I’m getting one of these from AliExpress I hope it’s better then the last one I got it was plastic at the ends it didn’t fit got the wrong size I got my money back

Well its been months since the replicas and now dozens of reviews have come. Apparently I came across a store which had legit 1:1 replica with the original threading and not stamped silicon. Might get those

I prefer one reall one that last for a long time , above ten AliExpress low quality products . The Apple one is a jewel , the fakes looks less in my opinion .so I only buy one band from Apple

It feels like cloth and reacts like it apart from having memory when stretched. I suggest going to an apple store and seeing one in person if these videos don’t convey it for you.
