I love the Rdunae ! It's simply perfect! I wanted an homage to the '60s GGW113/MIL-W-3818B military issue watches, _not_ the Hamilton Khaki Field (which is itself an homage to them), and the Rdunae has the most accurate case shape, size, and domed crystal! Fantastic watch !

Having owned a few tandorio i can recommend their quality, best bang for buck IMO. (The bronze navigator is currently my fave)

Great review! I looked to find the dimensions of the Skmei and it listed them but left out the most important being the dial dimension. I was told it was a 42mm which isnt ideal for everyone, not that bad but in all reality finding out that it actually comes out to 45mm I wouldn't have been as interested to suggest, so I apologize that its bigger then anticipated. Price wise its still a good grab and go of an iconic style just shortens the number as its suited more for the larger wristed.The Rdunae is my favorite out if the bunch, kraken watch! All the best!!

Can you maybe recommend me a cheap homage of DOXA SUB300T? I see Pagani PD-1719 and Tandorio number-less model. Maybe you have seen another models?

The movement used in the Skmei probably isn't the best, that backplay on the second hand is quite a bit, you can see it in the lume video too. That puts me off, I don't know how it will fare with others

For the Tandorio in brown with the California dial, any strap recommendations for a strap upgrade?

I believe those are manta rays on the tandorio not seagulls. I could be wrong. It looks like a homage to a samurai save the ocean

Correction: Rdunae RA03 is NOT a flieger / pilot watch, but a homage of the US field watch from the Vietnam War era.

I would really like to see China show us their best. Like Japan has. Homages are fine, but it would be great to see pure Chinese designs coming through the market place.

Hello Wes watches. Can you do a haul for women's watches?

The Parnsrpe is cool and all, very attractive, and well priced, but... what's with the 24 hour bezel? It can't serve any function since the movement is 12h. Why didn't they put on a 12h bezel so you could actually track a second time zone? Or a timing bezel of some sort? Or as much as I detest them, in this case, even a compass bezel would arguably serve SOME function, unlike this 24h bezel. Such a weird choice, right up there with putting a tachymeter bezel on a watch with a small seconds movement. Just weird, and, frankly, shows that their design department doesn't actually understand how the elements that they include in their designs actually function, or that they don't care, and don't design for function, only for appearance. Neither explanation is a good look for them, at all. So a hard pass from me on that, oh well. The Rdunae (Roma die uno non aedificata est = "Rome isn't built in a day") model is RA-03, not "G10". G10 is the model of watch supplied by CWC to the UK MOD, and the Rdunae "G10" model is their RA01/RA01T. This is their version of the US DOD MIL-W-3818B or GG-W-113 specification, or basically a Benrus DTU-2A/P homage. Nitpicking on details done, I got this watch a few months back, lovely little thing. I do wish it had a mecaquartz, or even better, a cheap manual wind movement in it, but I can live with the single tick per second. I also wish they had fit it with an acrylic crystal (or I guess at least sapphire instead of the composite they used), but I have no real complaints with that detail, either. It's a great little watch, nearly dead-on copy of a real. old school, US military issue watch like what I used back in the 90's. The Tandorio diver's cool. Not really to my personal taste, but it looks lovely. And hey, at least the bezel on this one serves a useful function, unlike the Parnsrpe. The Tandorio California is beautiful. I have that one on my wish list, maybe I'll manage to get one in someday! The Skmei isn't bad, good deal for the price, but I tend to go a bit higher specification and price with most of my purchases than this. Except when I get a Mini Focus Little Monster bullhead chronograph. Then I go for this level of specification and price. But that's another matter entirely! Anyway, great selection of watches, it looks like you got some good stuff, a couple really nice ones, and a couple that I'd have no personal interest in, and another I'd find disappointing. To be honest I’m getting a little sick of collecting budget watches. But it seems like to move up in adjacent step of quality you have to start spending $4-5 hundred. Plus I will probably ever have enough disposable money to own a Rolex
