I do not recommend Dell Workstations. I recommend Lenovo P500 and P510 workstations. The reason I say this is that changing the power supply and PCIe cables is the easiest and still available on eBay and aftermarket sellers. Neither the HP Z440 or Dell T-series can be upgraded power supply or power cable wise.
You can swap the PSU for Z440, but don't use the original chassis. The Z440 PSU has a weird physical shape to fit into the proprietary chassis. What you can do, is buying a Z440 motherboard for US$30, then use the PSU adapter for $10. It will work with standard ATX PSU and chassis nicely. The adapter is for motherboard power only. PCIe power still comes from PSU as normal, so I don't think the knockoff adapter is at any fire risk. You may want to short a few fan pins to disable the "missing fan" warning, or pressing Enter every time boot to ignore the warning. T5810/7810/7910, they use proprietary power connector and there's no cheap adapters. The best you can do is take the 1300W PSU from 7910, put it into 5810 or 7810. However, the PSU breakout board is lacking the proper connectors, so you have to risk fire by using 8pin 12V power splitter. No, that's not recommended. Or you have to source the 7910 breakout board. There are a few custom made/knockoff, but overall it's very rare.

I can't find any MR9A v1.0 combo, MR9A Pro combo is expensive. The RS9 combo is about the same price as K9 combo. I'm planning to get with e5 2680 v4 + 32G and add another 32G. Prefer to get everything from the same store as I have no experience purchasing from aliexpress. Shall I just go with the K9? 143.5 euro in total

RS9 would be fine with E5-2673 V3 and even E5-2667 V3 (with TBU) but only if you ensure good VRM cooling and don't torture PC for 24/7 rendering load or similar.

Brother I got MACHINIST X99 PR9 X99 , Im using windows 10 pro and I have 3 ram sticks each 32gb 2400mhz , 2 of them are from micron and 1 is samsung for some reason when I use 2 of them no matter which one in dual channel 1st and 4th ram slot it work fine with 64gb but when I put 32gb more in 2nd or 3th slot it doesnt start. How to make the 3th ram stick to work? They are all ECC.
This is a good guide Ali Express no longer ships to my country at a decent price but I can find this in Lazada which is an Asian focused online store also owned by Alibaba and I have seen some of the products he recommended there at a slightly cheaper or more expensive price point.

I find that living in the US, you would be better served buying a name brand GPU used rather than a "new" and untrustworthy GPU from AliExpress. Often times these used GPUs are around the same price or in most cases cheaper. Like the RX 5700XT can be found on eBay used or on classifieds like FB Marketplace for under $150 and often as low as $100.

@@Miyconst Thanks for the response. The gigabyte TPM adapter requires soldering the wires to the motherboard and would it be plug and play? I was a little scared to use it because my RS9 was one of the first to be sold, and current models use a 2x5 with 9 pins, and mine is a 2x5 with 10 pins.
I can't find that deal for the 5600, which is rather good. The rest isn't really that far off Amazon or other retailers when you account for VAT. Especially motherboards they are more expensive than brand name ones. The 6600M is some 25eur below a Sapphire 6600, so probably not worth it. I have looked at the GPU deals and eBay used from a reputable seller seems a better option.

On the official website they write Maxsun Challenger B760ITX D5 supports PCI-E 5.0, but in other places I see PCI-E 4.0. I want to buy this motherboard, so this is important for me. i've been buying tons of aliexpress stuff lately and it's been fun and great value. SOYO RTX 3060 12GB, MOUGOL RX 470 4GB, Machinist B450M, Puskill NVMe. JUHOR DDR4, ain't having any problems with them. Name brands that I had real problems with are Cooler Master power supplies and Gigabyte motherboards.

"ITX mutants", do you mean the LGA 1700 mobile CPUs or the ERYING like mITX boards with a CPU onboard? EPYC might be on my radar if I manage to somehow recover the losses with the LGA 3647 purchases and X99 TPM module development.

A few weeks ago i got a LGA 2011-3 Plattform. The mainboard was the Machinist X99 RS9 you recommended for at that time 34 €. The CPU i got was an Intel Xeon E5-2699 v3 (18C/36T, 2.30 - 3.60 GHz, 4,5 MB L2, 45 MB L3) for 35 € on eBay (used and refurbished). As RAM i got 4 modules of Kingston DDR4-2133 Registered ECC with 8 GB capacity for 40 €. VRMs are doing fine since i have the Silentware Air 10 ARGB mATX case with 2 140mm fans behind a mesh front.
I can confirm the Eycc 7K62 works in the H11SL-i V2 Supermicro motherboard. I using it now. Very fast, and not so power hungry when not being used hard. In windows desktop with a 10Gb network card and a Tesla P4 it uses 80w from the wall.

I am just using 4 memory channels and using windows 10 as a test before I deploy as my new unraid server.
