I recently scored the PD1731 in the Ice Blue and it has been solid. I binned the bracelet and added a Barton quick release leather strap and it gets its fair share of compliments. Keeps great time as well. No BS - checked it for five consecutive days and the seconds were spot on - I was pleasantly shocked! Looking forward to those sale prices - Hurry Up Monday! Cheers Mate!

Man, I’m tempted to pick up that Sugess chronograph. Or the other design with the ice blue dial that seemed a bit more standard and less quirky.

The Sugess is an absolute bargain. A descently made watch with a crown wheel mechanical chronograph movement of Swiss origin for less than a £100 is absolutely nuts. That is Casio quartz money for a true mechanical movement with real heritage.

I paid $189 a year ago. I'm tempted to get another one. There's only one issue with the watch. The minute hand is too long and obscures the minute indices.

It's the blue version. In some lighting conditions, it does have a slight turqoise tint but it's definitely a lot more blue than green in real life. Thanks for watching!!

okay okay, ill buy the Sugees okay :) Yes, I have been looking at the Seagull 1963 for a couple of years, I like the look, but when I buy a watch I want something I don't already have in my collection, and for me a fully mechanical chrono is a must. However, there are so many variants of the 1963, I bought one last year and what arrived was an abomination, I did get a refund, but you know the say, once bitten.... anyway saw this review of the Sugeees (and the Cadison) which have the same movement as the 1963 and just thought wow. Also, as you say, been looking and you can fit any strap to this watch and it will just work. I have looked at this piece before but the product shot does not do it justice, when I saw you moving the watch around, I just had to have one. Now its a 10 day wait for it to arrive :) With the discount code you linked, the non gooseneck was £95.13 for me. Bargain. Could have got the gooseneck for a few quid more, but I only wear each of my watches a few day a year and so don't think I would get the (if any) benefit. Thank you for the video dude, it was most useful.

Out of curiosity do you double check the prices once the sale goes live? For example, I picked up the Seestern Sub 300T homage but paid a little more at €115 including taxes. However, the price in dollars (for the watch you linked to in the description) is $127 vs the $111 you mentioned. This is not a criticism of your work but rather some sneaky behaviour I see now and again with Aliexpress sale prices.

Yes, I checked them all this morning and all the prices show the same for me as the video within a few cents, except the Sugess, which is showing a few dollars less. I bought 2 watches this morning and the discount codes worked fine as well. Thanks for watching 👍👍

@@TimeForAnotherWatch As an ex-pat I am aware of the difference between how/when taxes are added for both EU and UK. If you got those sale prices then great but I was only able to get a similar price when factoring in a bigger discount as I able use a €20 code and had some coins for a further €7 off.

Hi, I've checked the sale prices this morning and they are all approximately the same as mentioned in the video. The basic Sugess price is actually a few dollars less. Also, the discounts codes are working. Note that the prices in the video are the basic AliExpress prices. They do not include any tax that might be applicable. Depending on where you live in the world AliExpress may add tax to the prices. For example, for the UK, 20% tax gets added at checkout on total purchases less than £135. But for some territories, AliExpress may add tax before checkout, so that the tax is already added to the price. Thanks for watching!!

The cheapest Sugess shows for me as $105.43 USD, plus tax. So, including UK tax, this would be $126.51. This is for the leather strap version and for the "normal" movement, without the swan neck regulator. The most expensive shows for me as $118.50. Plus UK tax, this would be $142.20. This is for the FKM rubber strap and the movement with the swan neck regulator. For the UK, AliExpress doesn't show the tax until checking out. For some regions, I understand that the tax is already included in the price immediately. Thank you for watching 👍👍

The prices for the uk are very low ir seams, the sugess is 170€ for Slovenia. The Pegganis are about 20€ more expensive

Hello my friend, someone from Italy commented the Sugess was also showing approx €170 for him but he was looking at today's price, rather than the "drops to" price (about €140) for the sale, that starts tomorrow. Also, the discount codes have to be input manually when checking out...but these won't work until tommorrow. We also have to pay tax in the UK but AliExpress doesn't add UK tax until the point of checkout. The sale price, from tomorrow, including the discount code and tax should be similar for Slovenia and the UK. Thanks for watching👍👍
