if its not too much to ask, for the next update can you improve the motion blur (making it look better and fixing the motion blur bug that makes it lag) or maybe add a "transform" effect, which is the same as move and transform but as an effect so you can copy and paste it onto other layers. but still good update tho im gonna try these new effects

So, there is no bug that makes it lag, it's computationally expensive to use motion blur, and if you use it a lot it requires a lot from your device, which causes the issues in performance you see. For me (the manager of this account, the person, not the company) it took me about 6 months to become good at the app, to make the videos you see on this channel. They're still not perfect, but you can see the improvement through the versions. Of course, I'm still always learning as well. When will this application be updated again? if it updates again please add the effect of 3d open boxes and other 3d shapes, and also reduce bugs so as not to crash on our phones !!. If possible, complete all the effect features like the after effect apk?🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sorry, I was trying to reply to Alight motion reply saying about new shapes but mentioned hollow box instead, the thing I was trying to say was: Will there be new 2D, vector, preset shapes? Like when you click the "+" button.
Ahhhh. We may add more shapes over time. We may not be able certain specific things, like models of phones, because they're owned by their respective companies, but we will likely add some more fundamental things. Did you have any requests?

Hi! I think I understand, but if you're looking for another glyph within the same font, you'll need to use a keyboard that accesses that glyph. We don't control any of the text input, we just display the characters the keyboard tells us to display. I hope that makes sense. I think you need something like a character map no? I hope you add 3d grouping, as you can add those 3d things and make them spin altogether and it will also make it alot more 3d, as more like 3d element on after effects
Hello! Unfortunately our app is a 2D app, and the 3D you see are just 2D projections. (If you use Flip Layer, you can see this.) The development team is aware that there is interest in this, but we're not sure if/how/when we may implement this. Would you want them to behave like in other 3D environments like Blender or something different?

Would you guys add 'expressions' to the app, because, currently it is almost fully keyframe based. Expressions can help to loop, increase, decrease and control other parameters which will be cool and versatile.

hey alightmotion i just wanted to tell you that there is a problem when i try to speed up and slow down a video but on ios it slows down and speeds up perfectly fine
Hello! There is no speed control for video on the Android version of Alight Motion. This is because this feature is included within iOS, but it needs to be built from scratch on Android, so unfortunately it may take some time for us to implement, and we're not sure what is possible at this point. What I was trying to say is that im a little confused on the New oscillate settings because I used to put my angle at 0.0° but now it goes sideways but I think I have to put the angle at 90.0° for it to be Like it used to be before (sorry im bad at explaining) btw I love ur app💞
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this! Oscillate had a number of issues, the Angle only went from 0 to 180, plus there was an issue with the spinners not being refined enough in a previous version. We updated the effect so that the Angle works like in all other effects (starts horizontal, and then increases clockwise) So, if you want vertical oscillation, a degree of 90 degrees, then you will have to put it at 90 degrees. If you have oscillate from an older project it should work the same as it did before, but if you replace the effect, you'll have to adjust it to match the new values. There is a note about this in the effect guide. (Go to the effect browser, tap Search, enter Oscillate, then tap the icon, and then tap Guide.) I hope this helps. @Alight Motion. I hope we can open Ligatures and other Alternate fonts in Alight Motion. Ex. In Adobe Photoshop and After effects, we can use or see the Ligatures and Alternate glyphs of fonts. Ligatures is , a ligature occurs where two or more graphemes or letters are joined as a single glyph. An example is the character æ as used in English, in which the letters a and e are joined. Alternate glyphs of fonts is Alternate characters are variations of the standard, default characters in a typeface. They are designed as options for customizing the look and personality of both text and display settings. I hope you can help us. Because your App is very amazing. Adobe level. hehe
Hello! Ligatures should display as normal in Alight Motion, for example, if I type "fi" in Roboto, I can see the fi ligature on both Android and iPhone. If you would like to input alternate characters, then you'll need a keyboard that allows you to do so, or you'll have to import it from a character map or a website that displays such characters. If it's not too much, i would like to request one last feature, in fact the most important one- PUPPET PINS. They are very needed, i know most of the community are of editors, but there are some motion graphics artists, to whom this would really be helpful. Thanks for being patient, and caring for community

@@AlightMotion puppet pins can be used as a replacement to other character rigging tools. Therefore it would be a lot easier to move around a character's arm or body, without going to numerous vector points. Puppet pin would also be helpful to change a static photo, to re mesh it. It could also be have some features such as parenting the pins, so when one parent pin will move, all the connected pins would move too, increasing time efficiency and to maintain the shape aspects

Hello! If you would like to use a curved path, please make the curved path using vector drawing tools or shapes, and then use the effect Move Along Path. That should help! @@AlightMotion thanks for replying and hearing. Move along path can only be used for the overall shape and not for one vector point which was needed, 😥. There's is also a bug where the grouping feature would cut out many details like timing, of the shapes using 'repeat'
Hello! You can also use it on open curves, not just shapes. You need to have at least two points to have a curve anyway, so you can just make two points, get a bezier curve and then animate over it with Move Along Path. That should work well. @@AlightMotion no no ,i am not speaking about moving vectors through move along path, that works, but not what i am talking The individual points in a shape can only be animated as straight lines we can't curve it, therefore walk cycles and charcater rigging, are very hard. I am really having struggle with the oscillate effect the angles are messed up,idk how to deal with it,the 180 is like the 90 now...and the 90 is like the 180...it's really confusing I need someone to help me with it because all of my shakes got messed up because of that

Hello! Do you mean 1440 or 144? Do you want this as an export setting? You can set this as your export size in the custom settings when you create a project. I hope that helps!
@@AlightMotion yes i do mean 144p preview (ultra low quality preview) because i have been experiencing alot of lag while editing lately so maybe you guys can do something about it? it can help alot of editors with a mid/low range phone :D also thanks for the new update good work!

XML cannot be imported into Alight Motion at this point. An internal testing feature was mistakenly enabled once in an older version but it did not work correctly and could not import on a different device that the project was originally created on (so it wasn't very useful). This is why we made project links, because they handle moving between devices correctly.
