Love Alison Krauss. Too bad the interviewer was so bad. Would love to hear her have a serious discussion about music, arranging, performing, etc. She's such a treasure ... I expect we'd all learn so much.
I fell in love with her when she filmed one of her albums in the Historical parts of Manassas, VA a long time ago. Shame the interviewer didn't let her roll on in depth with her life & music stories. Typical of the Times.
Love the way this guy interviews ...he is so comfortable in his own skin ..Alison is very calm every time and has a sweet humour ..would love to chat to her on my own .
She's a very real down to earth humble person. I love her interviews shes funny and is not afraid of poking jokes at herself. I hope to see her live some day.
Alison Krauss does carry her conversation with sincere integrity, as Alison addresses the questions presented by this distinguished "New York Times" host and correspondent (Dana Jennings presents his interview, here, integrally courteous, reflecting well upon his [Dana's] well-disciplined "New York Times" correspondent profession; Mr. Jennings upholds a true respect [order] for the value of professional etiquette.)
For a moment around 25:00, I thought she said they talked about Paul Stanley. I had to rewind it twice before I could make out that she said Ralph Stanley, LoL!
What’s wrong with this guy? Why do you ask an artist , “What’s a song you wanted to sing that came out bad and you wish it wasn’t put on an album?” That’s like saying, “Tell us about your failures.” She looks perplexed. He has no skills as an interviewer and he obviously didn’t think about what he was going to ask her. He is lucky she’s so nice.
Well, i was watching & began to form some thoughts about this awkward dude,... AND THEN , about 5 minutes in , I decided to take a look below & ✔️Out Some of the comments , and thought 🤔 Hmmmmm, I’ll only be repeating what most everyone else has already said 😏!!! For someone at her level & position , couldn’t they find anyone besides the DORKY DUDE ??? 🤨
algorythm just now , after 6 years , ?? anyhow , all those folks giving the guy a bit o' stick put y'self in his seat for a moment ,he's a "mere mortal ,"sitting beside one of the Angels don't try 'n' say you would not be just a bit intimidated , we might know she is a beautifull human but !!? .
