I listened to this song over 1,000 time on a deployment to Kuwuit in 07 with the Air Force. Alison's sweet voice was the only thing that got me through that 6 month's God bless here and the band.👊
Union station are incredible musicians but the combination of allison makes them incomparable to no others. When she sings oh atlanta i swear to god time stops
At least a hunnerd! She didn't much care if those syllables matched the originals, either! That's ok, though! Such an awesome song & she's such an awesome singer it's all good! 👍👍👍 I had to internet search the original lyric, though. Didn't have a clue! 😀 Jugger jew (that's what I heard, anyway) is not how you spell or pronounce Georgia, just sayin'! 😂😂😂
@@Beezlie727 Tell me about it - The only thing that bugs me about this song was how she pronounced it as "Gee-Or-guh-Juh" Its a soft "g" in the middle of Georgia honey chile. Or go native and pronounce it "Joe-Juh". Still love her voice though.
for some reason, Allison Krauss's voice brings tears to my eyes. She is the only one that causes this to happen. I usually listen to hard rock and classic rock, but something about Union Station with Allison Krauss is addictive. GB them all
Thats what i love about real country, r&b, soul musicians. They can hit a note and sustain it. Smoothly able to move up and down the musical scale without a problem.
I love the look that Dan Tyminski gives Jerry Douglas at 3:09. I suspect it was a response to how Jerry ended his solo. That was pretty freaking awesome.
I can't get over how she reaches those high notes without SCREAMING but loud enough that you know they're supposed to be impressed on your mind without effort!
