When Alison sings...”tell me everything is gonna be fine.....you’re gonna be mine....for a long time” That touches my soul!! I’m praying for that kinda love! You’re so amazing Alison!! 💖🥰🥰 Been a fan since the beginning!! Soul crushing voice!! 🙏❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹💋
One of the most powerful female vocals. She was and still is, amazing. Loved Yaz and her voice in the 80s, but now that I listen to her, even more so, knowing now what I know and seen in the music trends or lack of. Amazing powerhouse of a voice.
She got the guestion, "you lost a lot of weight" during a interview on a tv show according her new album. Then she answeard "I can´t see what my weight got to do with my voice". Just love everything about you Alison, you are just brilliant in every way ❤️
@@wythenshawekid1597 Yes, I did know😁 I remember her very well from the early 80's, Nobody's Diary was a haunting, beautiful track, loved it then, love it now.
I remember playing upstairs at Eric’s and loving it. We started ending statements with “and anyway” and folks just looked at us like we had lost it. Of course considering our neighborhood, blocks from Atlanta’s Majestic Diner in the 80s we prob were a little crazy.
She is amazing. I have had a crush on her since the early 80's. She look fabulous then and she looks amazing now. I have always liked that deeper voice with female vocalists.
I needed to listen this a few times before sharing this. Upstairs at Eric's was one of may favorites back in the 80's, so this was a huge surprise for me. Allison - in a great shape, the same incredible voice, an amazing stage appearance. Just wow!
I was a club DJ in the early 80's and played a lot of Yaz's Music. Alison had it then and still does Today. She looks fantastic and Her vocals are still spot on.
Ye Gods Alison, could you get any more beautiful or your voice anymore perfect? We danced to Yazoo, and it was glorious... Heaven and The Fridge, back when London ROCKED! Thank you for the decades of delight you have given us! Love you always!
She has always had that powerful voice. Loved her from the beginnings. And she always looked beautiful! Now, she looks terrific! We see the final result but I guarantee! There was a lot of hard work and dedication on her part. Congratulations Alison ! I'm so happy for you?

Loved Yazoo back in the 80’s and been a fan of Alison Moyet ever since saw her in 2019 on tour with Tears for Fears she was fantastic....such a fantastic voice can listen to her songs all the time...Only You is one of my all time favourites
I only heard this song once driving in my car. I didn't get the group or song name but the lyrics, and vocals of this song stuck with me for years. After 30 years and thanks to internet I finally found the song and Wow, still just as amazing as it was to me that day I heard it on the radio. I have since listened and followed many of her songs. I feel blessed to have heard that song so many years ago so that I could find such an amazing performer.
I met Alf & Vince in the lobby of the Dominion Theatre, Tottenham Court Rd. It was the early 80's... 82, maybe. I was in there (with a couple of mates) buying tickets for the concert, that night. I thought "artists" came in via the stage door. We said hello, and wished them well for the concert, then we left. Being 17 at the time, I was all a flutter at meeting Alison.
Best vocalist to be born out of the 80's males and females included. Big call as there were others, but Alison Moyet comes top of the list. Thanks Alison for bringing joy in to this world x
I have loved Alison Moyet since I was a teen in the 80's and I used to play her albums on my walkman and boombox. She is so underrated. The Yazoo songs will live in my memory for ever. Thanks.
Beautiful song, lyrics and music. Incredible voice and singer. Guess diaries and memories are all we have now. Timeless. Thank you for the song and memory
