Alison Brooks is a middle school librarian, which means she gets to meet and encourage students of all backgrounds. She has seen first-hand the impact that YMCA Latino Achievers has had on her students' families, including providing Spanish resources to help MNPS parents. This summer, she volunteered to co-host a book club with Y-LA-an experience she found "incredibly impactful."
