A little timelapse of how I made my Alita Battle Angel LED Sword. This is my first time building anything with LEDs, and it was fun to problem solve about where to hide the battery pack, etc, but I do wish I used some higher quality ones to make the glow appear more evenly throughout the blade. It was also my first time using Wonderflex, which worked perfectly for the blade as it was sturdy and held its form while heated and clear enough for light to shine through.
In total it took me about 35 hours to complete. This includes all of the time wasted by doing things one way before discovering that it wasn't working. I shortened it to 15 minutes by cutting and taking out parts that were mirrored or done twice. Hope you all enjoy!
