I would imagine the center cylinder “could” be replaced with a pressurized cylinder, akin to a co2 cartridge, fill it with gas and a little shaving cream and have a little 2 way valve that the cap connects to. This way it can dispense a little shaving cream to demonstrate it’s a “real” product. The base would hypothetically be the source of the cryogenic liquid.
That label differs from screen accurate in a number of ways but no one ever gets it right, not even the people selling the licensed prop replica. Barbasol was owned by Pfizer in the 90s. Your label has the current owner Perio, Inc. The Pfizer text should run underneath the barcode. This can been seen on the prop if you freeze frame when Dodgson is unscrewing the can for Nedry. Maybe false advertising at best but if this was a "scam" they are awful at scamming people. They could have just sent you a can of barbasol lol. Great job on the video though.

I wanted to make one of these. It seems as though someone else had the same idea. I would've made it so that it still dispenses shaving cream. Thank you for sharing this with us. At least creativity is still alive in the world today.
If he got it from the site I'm thinking of, yeah he was scammed. They have pictures of the legit prop replica on the site but it actually looks like the one he was sent.
It’s a dishonest scam if they’re selling Barbasol in every photo and name, and a different product arrives at your house. They could have been honest that it wasn’t the right branding
Stumbled on your series of vids making the armour and I will say it's impressive the amount of work, effort and care you put into it! Clearly shows in the end product! I don't seem to have noticed so far how you made the red chasuble worn under the chest/shoulder armour though.. or was that a repurposed off-the-shelf garment?
Thank you, it’s made by me! The base is a modified jacket pattern and I drafted the sleeves. I filmed the making of the small bits and baubles but never posted them 😅 maybe I’ll see how far I had gotten in editing and throw the videos up

Yes! However, there’s not enough room with this prop to do so, so id have to mess with the prop more. In that case I’d probably print and replace the entire mechanism so it would be uniformed
I WANT a version of this BUT the little samples would instead be 510 cartridges and the bottom a battery and when you close it you can "hit" the top from the nossle and pull from ALL the carts at once...
