Alka had unmatched voice in her peak years (1988-2004). Excellent tonal quality with unique and melodies voice 🔥. Her voice suit perfectly on every actress face that was her biggest advantage over other female singers that's why she was the first choice of every music composer in those years. Shreya on the other hand is more versatile and far ahead of Alka in vocal range but her thin and sharp voice don't suit on every actress. Plus, Shreya has lots of substitutes every second girl in India sounded like her but Alka's voice is very unique. Bollywood will never get another Alka yagnik ♥️♥️ For me, ALKA YAGNIK>>>>>>>Shreya ghoshal

What means sounding like shreya , no one put expression like shreya. Even Suman ji also sounding like Lata ji but diffrence in expression. Also transition songs they can't sound like shreya. Go and watch both alka and shreya live performance. Shreya live performance are far ahead. Also shreya can adjust for any actress as well. But know days singer don't know for which actress or movie their song in recorded. and shreya is more successful in South India. Also shreya pronounce well compare to any other contemporary singer. Her pronouncing in South India is top notch. if u talking about singer shreya is ahead.
