Yes, it's possible to be Alkaline Vegan and still enjoy some cake. My Plantbased cake will blow your socks off! I love it because it's so easy to make and it's so versatile. You can shape this cake however you want and you can add or remove any toppings you want or don't want. There are three levels to this cake: Bare, Frosted, or Frosted with Fruits, Candied Walnuts, and Coconut Flakes. Let me know where you'd stop adding stuff in the comments section below.
Also, I added some baking soda to this cake. If you're not into that, there are many substitutes out there. Keep in mind that the results of your cake may vary from mine if you go the other route. It will be a bit more dense and less puffy/airy. It's okay if you don't want to add baking soda. I understand your decision. It's not on the list of Alkaline ingredients, etc. The good news is either way, Alkaline Vegans and Vegans now have a base cake recipe they can use for Valentine's Day cakes, Christmas cakes, Birthday cakes, and other occasions.
