Yes, this is the piece that I couldn't finish in the semi-final in Hamamatsu, haha:) Every performer has love and responsibility and tries to make better music. I do the same thing. Also, I'm so interested to play pieces in that way that composers wanted to express their ideas. except for modern composers, we don't have contact with composers, so we can't do 100% the same what they wanted to hear, but I'm trying to be closer as much as possible. Alkan is from the same period as Chopin, but he is not well known. His pieces are very interesting for me, especially this piece gave me a lot of fantasy. I'm very glad that the audience liked it. I will remember what you said, A good musician has a good listener.

@@HyukLee My specialty is not music, but I understand well what you said. I believe that performers are evangelists who convey the composer's ideas to the audience(I want to be a good listener who receive it). It's a musician's noble mission. However, actually, I have many experiences of being disappointed at concerts. In other words, there are just a few performance like yours that really moved me. Your recitals/concerts were full of sincerity. It is said that Alkan's life was not a happy one, but I think the physical and technical difficulty of Alkan's works is due to the fact that he himself was an extraordinary pianist. By the way, you may feel this strange, I still can't open your video of 'Beethoven Sonata 23-57'. In the hall, I was so much, too much overwhelmed by something in you and hardly even breathing. Burning emotion of Beethoven and you, but not wild or rough. I don't understand people say ’I enjoyed it’. Seriously, I felt like I was going to collapse at the last rest with the fermata. One of the happiness you gave me is that I can tell you my honest feeling about music.

@@shibalea2000 I'm surprised that you felt that sensitively in Beethoven sonata, and I'm happy. As people call that sonata "Appasionata", I wanted to express that kind of fire and courage without any resignation in this music. I want to study Beethoven's other works too! I will always try not to lose the sincerity in my music!

안녕하세요? 알캉곡 좋아해주셔서 감사합니다~ 저는 처음 알캉을 알았을때 쇼팽과 동시대를 살았다는게 무척 놀라웠습니다. 쇼팽과는 전혀 다른 작품세계가 저에겐 대단히 흥미로웠어요. 만약 알캉이 쇼팽시대 가 아닌 좀더 나중에 태어났더라면 어땠을까 하는 생각도 들었구요. 사라님도 알캉곡을 좋아해 주셔서 반갑습니다~😊

As this piece is not well-known you might felt that feeling!:) Alkan actually lived in same time with Chopin but he isn't that popular as Chopin. It's a pity. he is such a unique composer, I like his works too. He is amazing! Have a nice day!

Dear Kurt, Alkan's music is not so much played by many pianists. That's why there is not much chance when you can listen to this piece. so I really wanted to play this music. because it's like you said - A fantastic work! It's pity that he lived in same century when Chopin lived, but he is much less famous. Thank you for listening to this piece and liking it! I'm also happy!

제목이 심포니인데 효효님이 이렇게 느껴주셨네요~ 기쁩니다 저는 알캉의 이 작품을 처음 접했을때 이 작곡가가 쇼팽과 같은 시간을 살았다는게 놀라웠습니다 쇼팽과는 전혀다른 이 스타일이 굉장히 흥미로웠어요 들어주셔서 감사합니다~

ㅋ~ 저에게도 가장 아쉬웠던 때가 바로 하마마추에서 시간초과로 알캉의 마지막 악장을 못끝냈을때 입니다😅 저는 알캉 작곡가의 작품들이 매우 신선했고 좋았는데 경애님 말씀처럼 다른 작곡가들의 곡보다는 많이 연주되진 않습니다. 쇼팽과 같은 시대를 살았지만 알캉은 쇼팽 스타일과는 다른 자신만의 개성적인 곡들을 남겨놓았고 제겐 참 흥미로운 작곡가입니다. 제가 한국에서 알캉을 연주해 볼수 있길 저도 고대합니다~😊
