Markovnikov's rule states that when a hydrogen halide react with an alkene,the hydrogen of the halide goes to the carbon of the double bond with the highest hydrogen and the halide goes goes to the carbon of the double bond with less hydrogen and the vice versa is antimarkovnikov's.

*See towards the video end methanal and propanal should be aldehydes as both share H in their structural formula, a ketone example is missing. It is correct though that the 2 compounds share carbonyl groups C = O are aldehyde products of the reaction as water and reducing agent was used. It would be good perhaps if you had shown a ketone product of the reaction or the reaction is dependend on other reagents including methanol, just a suggestion*

Hello Please, in the middle of your video, you made mention of markovnikov's addition of the product 1-iodopropane. But from the product you had from the reaction of propene and hydrogen iodide, it is suppose to be anti markovnikov's addiction. Thank you
